Haveing trouble trying to play the 4-3 defense

I have been trying to play the 3-4 defense for the last 2 years and i decide to use a team that was better suited for the 4-3 defense. So i ask is there a thread that can explain how to play this defense scheme or is there a 4-3 expert who can explain the in's and outs of this defense. ALC:cool:

Bro hard to find any help with 4-3...but I ran it in ervery football game Ive ever had..the 4-3 under is the way to go,and 4-3 Normal and Over flipped.Make sure you crash your DL every down and with the 4-3 Under,crash your DL to to the left so your LBs can penetrate the gaps.
With the 4-3 Normal to get extra pressure shift your DL one way and shift your LBs the other way and blitz the OLB between the Tackle and Guard.Hope this helps

My defensive strategy is pretty basic. I use 4-3 control a lineman usually the left DT who is top of chart or left defensive end. Blitz with the one you control and let other linemen or LBs do their work. Will have to fight for QB but you can switch to nearest defender if one is closer. This strategy is brilliant for run stops. Swith to a Db if the ball is passed. I manage to consistently come top of the league in rushing yards given up doing this. That's half the battle.It also allows the rest of the defence not on the line to fulfill their assignments without gaps assuming you got the right defence play called.
