Judging by some of the responses in the Fox Thread, apparantly the amount of negative articles regarding an administration on a homepage is rock solid evidence of "bias" against said administration. According to these folks, negative coverage of the White house couldn't possibly be because Obama is doing a sh*tty job, ...no no no.....it is "bias".
Let's take a look at the top stories on CNN's politics page as of 8:52 am.
House Dems balk at cost of healthcare;
Democrats blast White house for anonymous sniping;
Poll: Half disagree with Obama on issues;
Cheney: Obama seems "afraid" on Afghanistan;
Poll: Support for Afghanistan at all time low;
Did Obama win for not being Bush?
Clearly CNN must "have it in for" Obama.
Exec pay crack down bad for business;

That's why CNN is my "mainstream" media choice on TV. They will question government policies regardless of the political wing. There was a time when they weren't that way but for the past 2 years or so they've tried to be balanced and effort points from left and right as well as bring in 3rd party, neutral fact checking along with their own.
Anchored shows by Wolf Blitzer, Rick Sanchez and Campbell Brown do a good job of devil's advocate on issues they choose to discuss. Not a fan of Lou Dobbs (too left for me at times) or Anderson Cooper's 360 (too Geraldo imo). I do like John King's State of the Union and Howard Kurtz' Reliable Sources on the weekends.
I do think debating news media can only go so far though. Yea, Fox leans right, MSNBC leans left, etc etc, but if a person is really interested in the truth of any matter then that person needs to dig deeper than what is reported on their news outlet of choice. It's all a matter of how much information one cares to know.
CNN is definitely not perfect but i think they are more middle-grounded than the others. On the Daily Show this week, Jon Stewart did a thing that was funny and true (per usual for him) about the whole "ok, we have to leave it there" when interviews are done on CNN. Just when you want the REALLY hard follow-up question, the segment runs out of time and they have to "leave it there".

"They" didn't make those kids do that. "They" reported the story.... just like the other news outlets. Did CNN put an Obama spin on it? I don't think so. If they did then I ask you to show me. I remember the day they ran that story Wolf Blitzer had his roundtable panel of 2 lefties and 2 righties discussing it. I'd say that is fair and balanced.

So, they sang a song in the CNN studio. That doesn't change the fact that CNN still reports non-favorable news about Obama - as well as seek out non-favorable commentary to air.
What's wrong with me is probably that i think the whole "indoctrination" thing is a lot overbaord. Two years form now they won't even remember the words to the song.
There are elementary schools named after Presidents. Is that indoctrination too? I can see you 20 years from now and you find out your grandchild is going to Barack Obama Elementary School.... you'd freak out... "take that kid outta that school, they are gonna brainwash him!" ...lol

The "schools named after Presidents" is you best deflection in ages!
The reality is the same. CNN brought little political tools into thsier studio to sing a song that praises obama and his HEALTHCARE program.
Is there nothing that will penetrate the bobble of your head? Wow.:eek:

Again.... so?
Does anyone really care what those kids are singing about? Of course not. Waste of news time? Certainly is. Swaying and penetrating enough to change someone's mind? No. It's one of those "cute, look at the little kids sing about something they know nothing about" moments.
CNN has people (qualified adults) who argue against the healthcare and everything else also. And on a much higher level than a second grader singing. You may not know that because you don't watch it and that's fine. But maybe your pov is that if any news outlet shows anything that isn't anti-Obama then they are automatically a leftie news outlet?
