Buried in her 1900 page Health Care Bill is a provision that states:

Any state that has a limit on attorney's fees or punitive damage awards in malpractice cases (like California) must change that law to remove all limits or the state loses federal money under the bill.

Now how can you add something like this to a helath care reform bill? This will RAISE costs, not lower them? Oh that's right, California trial lawyers donate alot of money to Pelosi. :rolleyes:

What in the fck? Are you serious? That is retarded. We need to be making healthcare EASIER for people to get. Not running doctors/discouraging future ones out of practice because of the threat that they can be sued for insane amounts and they might not have insurance cover it.

I hope this bill doesn't get passed.
