kickoff is hot garbage

I play with Tennessee and I can't do anything right when it comes to kickoff. I can't kick it deep and in the middle even though I do kickoff middle. It alway kicks to the right for whatever reason then the kick is short even though the meter is at full then they run it back on me dam near every time. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused:

what is your kickers attributes? Im not too sure about titans but maybe the kicker has a weak leg. As for not kicking it in the center, is your accuracy line straight in the middle as well?


as for them returning it on you easier, if you are not kicking it in middle then its a lot easier to return on the sides, and again, I do not play with titans so i have no clue how their special teams is, but teams with low special teams are gonna generally give up more yards because their blocking is pretty bad. I am not too good yet so special teams makes a big difference to someone like me, the vets might say it doesn't matter but i used to use steelers and id always get pissed because everyone else returns tds and their blockers block a lot where as mine never would. Ive been using chargers a lot with pitt playbooks and i can return a td usually once every 2 games and get a 60 yard return every game until someone catches me.

I've been sprinting wrong also so thats another reaosn why i got ****ty blocks on my returns so ima see how much better ill do now

Kicking is the most overlooked item in Madden... Nobody practices kicking it seems...

To get your middle kicks to the middle, you need to work on accuracy and factoring in the wind. It's not too different than long field goals, but kickoffs are harder to aim.

Thanks I will try to practice but Its hard when cats start on offense at the 45 everytime. I tried aiming it lower for more power but that seemed to make the kicks even shorter

look man just take control of one of your defenders and do whatever to get by the blockers. You can use the glitch where you hit stick low before u get to defender and he goes right past you, you can swim, or just run around them. It works pretty easy and now i barely give up any yardage. I kinda try and bait my other defenders so like if he tries to go in the gap i make sure im in that gap

Your R stick is off-center. Happened to me last year. Bought a new pad and I was good to go.

It might go right and short because of the wind...

My suggestion is to learn to squib kick.
