How do you stop someone that uses goaline all game? I played someone in a league game and all he did was goaline. He would audible out of goaline if I picked a goaline play on defense and pass to one of his TEs.

4-4 mad bomber, pinch the line and spread the LB's, nothing with the coverage. Put in some audibles out of 3-4, 5-2, 3-3-5 and know what they are good for. The 4-4 play will stop the short stuff including a goal line run up the gut or too the outside, maybe have another 4-4 blitz in the audible that is more of a zone and maybe only 2 of the LB's blitzing

I would say analog blitz em. But people have made that illegal, but u can run goalline all game huh

There is a defense that was used on me that blew up the goalline ply. It was one of the punt formations. I don't know if it was all blitz or not. All I know they were pouring in from all the cracks, and sacked my man for a lost. Experiment with that.

There is another defense that might help. It is the 4-3 Thunder green. Man formation. Spread the line, and manually have the Middle linebacker blitz the center. That normally will open up lanes for ur defense to penetrate.

One thing I like to do, but doesn't work all the time. I like to shift my line left or right using goaline De, putting one of my DT's head up over the center(make sure you have your strongest DLineman at the two inside DT positions, this is key) and I like to contol the MLB.

Not cheesy at all. It is a legitimate formation and not a glitch. You should always challenge your opponent to stop what you throw at them. And if they don't, you are obliged to keep running it until they do or until they lose.

Would you complain about someone running the power T all game, ace big twins? Any of the other power run formations?

Don't let the 'goal line' name fool you, its just a power run set, nothing more.

Thank You Fluff E Bunny.

Come on Striker homeboy, it was not the goaline package all game. It was goaline package, big package and near package all about 33% of the time. Anybody who plays me knows I will use these three formations most of the time. I use Virgina which has NO passing game. Virgina is a running team and I use power packages all game long. I've been averaging like 9-10 pass attempts my last few games, choosing to try and sustain long drives with higher chances of third down conversion rates. As Fluff E Bunny stated, it is just another package like the others mentioned above with extra blockers (FBs & TEs). I mix it up with middle dive plays, off tackle plays and tosses and options to the outside to keep my opponent guessing with the occasional pass mixed in. If somebody tries to stop it with the same kinds of blitzes over and over, I search out where I think the weak spot is with all the different run plays I use. With as unbalanced as this game is toward the deep ball, I never heard of someone using the running game being called cheesy. Matter of fact, I've seen posts, even one in our league how tough it is to run in this game. Trust me, I've played guys who have easily shut me down. We all have mismatches we try to look for in the game of the ongoing chess match in football. Big packages and the running game are my teams strength and I try to use them to exploit the other team where I hope I can with mismatches. Hope that clears up any misunderstanding about my game plan buddy. You're a nice guy and I look forward to more battles. :)

I will agree on Striker on this one. He's not using the WR Glitch or anything like that. If he just using the Goalline formation, and audibling into a play at the LOS, I really wouldnt call it cheesy.

Thats his offensive scheme, the Goalline Formation is just the personnel he uses to run his play out of. Adjust ur defense, as this guy (Striker) would probaly give me fits too cause we are so use too plying vs deep passers.

Its good to see a change of pace in the game and a new challenge to do research on stopping this type of plyer.
