To my knowledge a republican president was the first to bow to world leaders. And, to one known to be the head of state that killed Americans by the thousands years before. What? No outrage? LOL!

Not that it matters to me but when Obama bowed his head was down, not looking into the emperor's eyes. Nixon was looking into his adversary's eyes. Completely different gesture in my honest opinion.

There is absolutely no problem with bowing, holding hands, kissing on the cheek, etc when BOTH PARTIES ARE DOING IT. The fact that you can't see the difference in mutual conduct and one party submitting to the other is pathetic.

Look, I voted for Obama, would vote for him again if McCain and Palin were running against him. But, to be honest, after being stationed for 8 years in Asia, 11 if you count my time in Hawaii, plus marrying a non resident Asian from South Korea, Obama over does his bows. Don't know who is advising him, or is he really trying to be apologetic? I don't have a problem with a decent bow, I've done it with the in-laws, foreign nationals, shop keepers, restaurants, etc. I never bowed like Obama my entire time overseas in Asia, and I have never seen any service member do likewise.

But when all is said and done he doesn't care what you, I, or we say about him, if he did, he would never have ran for president.
