The purpose of our season, and every week of play, is "Do Your Part". The week's deadline is posted, everyone must do their part for the league to move forward: play the game, respect each other, follow the rules, and do the recap.
Week 10:
We have done our part, now, do yours!

MoneyMo's Patriots 50-something, djKianoosh's Colts 20-something.
it wasn't that big of a blowout, but it was a blowout, nonetheless. Schaub is done for the year with a broken elbow. yay! I will LMAO if I can win with Gutierrez at QB. The turning point in this game was at the end of the half. I had a chance to score with about 6 seconds left. instead of going for a FG, I went for it cause I was down 14, with Mo getting the ball back in the 2nd half. I should have cut it to 11. But I went for it thinking I really needed TD's to beat him. Sooooo, Dominique Rogers Cromartie took it to the house for the insurmountable 21 point lead. The team made an effort in the 2nd half, even getting some big plays, but the D just couldn't slow down Mo's Patriots. Colts are missing a couple of big pieces on D. Looks like we'll have to regroup and evaluate for next season. 4-5 and sinking.... GG Mo.

It was a classic game between 2 great respected coaches. The packers had a chance to score in the 1st qtr but failed to convert a 4th and 1 or maybe even inches around there 3 yardline. The packers also decided to not kick a FG and were stopped on a 4th and 1 as well. The Pack finally got things going in the 2nd qtr as J.Davis scored on a 4yrd TD run. The cowboys scraped there way downt the field but were held to FG due to the packers tough D. Dallas thought about faking a punt but called a TO and just went for the 51 yrd FG. Rob Bironas was pulled aside by coach thizz b4 the kick and givin some words of encouragement. On the pursuing kickoff Green bay fumbled the ball and Lendale white banged in a 2yrd run. 10-7 at half. J.Davis had 2 more TD runs in 3rd qtr and in what Dallas feels was play of the game donnavan Mcnabb rolled out to the right avoiding a sack about to throw it out of bounds but saw Steve Smith 36 yrds downfield in the endzone BY HIMSELF so you know what happened next........Boom TD steve smith. Going into the 4th qtr green bay was up 21-17 but dallas scored another TD as FB jacob hester handled the 1yrd goaline play into the endzone which put dallas up by 2 and instead of a xtra pt Dallas went for two as Mcnabb took the ball up the Gut score 25-21 with about 5 mins left in game. Green bay started marching down field for the win as Dallas D was extremely tired and could stop Them but QB tavaris jackson avoiding a sack ran about 20 yrds and instead of sliding decided to dive and fumbled the ball around the 15 yardline Dallas recovered and ran out the clock for the final 25-21 victory. Dalals improves to 6-3 and is looking to get back into the power rankings. I am sure this will be nominated for game of the week great game by two great coaches.

I was trying to slide with TJack but instead of sliding he dove and fumbled. I really hate this part of the game.

oh man, seriously.. another crazy thing that can happen when you want to slide is if by chance the game decides to make your qb throw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage instead of sliding.
they should probably just take the sprint button out of the game and reuse R2 for these kinds of things.

Sounds like something Tavaris Jackson would do to be honest.

Newman & Taylor Help Get Victory!!
The game started out all Cardinals with T.Newman taking back a pick 66 yards to the house to make the score 7-0 Cards. After an I.Taylor int on the next Hawk possession and a 12 yard R.Bush run everything was going the Cardinal way and at the end of the 1st quarter they were leading 14-0 and thought this would be a laugher.
But the Hawks had other plans!! Marching down the field and ending the drive with a B.Jacobs 6 yard run the Hawks cut the deficit to 14-7. On the next possession for the Cardinals I.Olshansky of the Hawks stepped in front of a K.Warner pass to bring the momentum over to the Hawks. K.Sheets tied the score for the Hawks with a 3 yard run. The Hawks were not done yet. They got the ball one more time in the second quarter and were determined to take the lead. However, instead of getting another TD the Cards D stepped up and held them to 3 points after they had first and goal. Halftime score Hawks 17 - Cards 14.
The momentum went back to the Cards in the second half. The Cards came out and took the first possession of the 3rd quarter all the way down the field and R.Bush capped it off with a one yard run. End of threee, Cards21 - Hawks 17.
The Cardinals got a FG early in the fourth to take a 7 point lead and then I.Taylor iced the game with a 46 yard pick 6 to make the final score 31 to 17 in favor of the Cards.
