QB Matt Gutierrez fills in for the injured Matt Schaub and leads his djKianoosh Colts to a huge upset victory over Highlander Ravens, 34-24 in chilly Baltimore!
After throwing an early pick 6 (http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/14917335), Gutierrez settled down and led the Colts offense to 17 straight points in the 2nd quarter. After a Baltimore FG with 53 seconds left in the half, Gutierrez responded with an impressive 3 point drive of his own, allowing the Colts to take a surprising 20-10 lead at the half.
In the 2nd half, the Ravens put together a massive drive, but on 3rd down at the goal line, Colts safety Thomas Decoud caught a tipped pass and took it 99 yards to the house (http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/14917308) for an astonishing 27-10 lead. The Ravens would answer right back with a scintillating drive, capped off by a Rodgers to Bryant Johnson TD (http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/14917436), to finish the 3rd quarter only down 10. Gutierrez again drove the team down the field, but this time relied a little more on his star running backs, Pierre Thomas (http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/14917464) and LeSean McCoy, to keep the chains moving and punch it in for the astounding 34-17 lead with 2:48 left in the game...
But the Ravens again drove down field with ease, getting a quick score from Felix Jones with 1:27 left in the game (http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/14917485) as Jones eluded a number of diving Colts defenders. Down 10 with time running out, the Ravens attempted the onside kick but Colts WR Juaquin Iglesias came up with the ball. The Colts ran the clock out to seal a critical win, one that may have saved their season as they look to rebound and keep pace in the AFC South.
