Have you tried the Tar with just the iron sight and silencer? I feel like the iron sight on the Tar (and Scar) is pretty nice. I like to use a similar setup but I use Scavenger Pro or Slight of Hand Pro instead. The Tar is a pretty underrated gun and I it is way more accurate than the accuracy suggests.

The only time I can recall was when one time there was someone that called in a Nuke, and the game was about to end. 5...4...3...

and the game froze up - unable to find another server and the lobby was closed. Someone somehow ended the match without everyone getting Nuked.

Other than that, I've never never seen anything else shady or otherwise.

yeah... i've been gettin R1 glitched a lot. i hate it. especially when people R3 glitch me. bums. the R3 glitch is super gay. you just automatically die if you are close to an enemy. :(

That's my 2 main ones I use, my other 4 are set up for game specific like S&D and my chopper killer class.

I know what you mean. The scar has a larger iron sight and the tar has that sort of dual iron sight, making it easier to see enemies than other guns.

As for the uzi - I love it on the smaller maps. The mobility + how accurate it is firing from the hip is a bonus. It's actually a pretty accurate gun within a considerable distance as well. Throw in lightweight pro and you'll mow down anyone in a face off. The MP5k silenced is another one I'll use from time to time (smaller maps), and the iron sight is a whole lot better than any of the other sub machine guns.

I like to be invisible. Basically u have to have me line-of-sight to kill me. Harriers, choppers and turrets can't see me at all. UAV's can't spot me and with silencers I NEVER show up on radars. Considered Marathon Pro to flank enemies, but with scar, it runs out of ammo quick. If I'm on a small board, I'll go M4A1 w/silencer, and swap Cold Blooded for Hardline Pro.

Ok. COD threads are a hot topic here, but this one may take the cake as far as humor. Bones is almost better with the knife because his accuracy is the worst amongst VGers. He has a hit ratio of about 9%.
JG there are no glitches that I have ever seen. AD is being a smart azz with the R1/R3 talk. R1 is the trigger and R3 is the melee or knife. The bastard knifed me once this weekend...:confused:
The game is a lot of fun and we are really getting a large crowd of VG people on here. We had 12 people teamed up this weekend. It gets crazy on the mic. Jump on board get your feet wet and be prepared to die.

Speaking of Kill Death ratios - you mofo's need to get your weight up.

Additionally, when we team up, we need to play some Domination or Headquarters. It's a hell of a lot more fun than the Team Deathmatch IMO.

my K/D depends on the map, im usually @ 500, in a small close map im usually well above .500 its the big maps that kill me becuase i usually only break even, need to start using some other weapons.. all i ever use is my m4

cheating isn't really an issue sometimes you'll get people who want to get a nuke so them and a buddy get in a corner of the map and just kill each other 25 times but if you see that going on just go kill them and ruin there streak, I've done that twice, hilarious :D

The only glitch I've ever seen used is on Afghan people can warp inside a rock, I've only seen it used twice so it's not really a big deal.

I think the ACR is the best gun in the game, even though sometimes I shoot them a few times and don't get the kill. The accuracy on it is just amazing. I got my 1000 kills with it though so there's not really a point in using it anymore. And once you use sleight of hand with it, it's over.

When I wanna camp or just play it slow, I use the TAR with the heartbeat sensor and holo scope.

It almost seems like you need scavenger when you have the SCAR because it runs out of ammo so quick.

For secondary guns, I like to use the auto shotgun with a silencer lol, or run around with akimbo model 1887's with a lightweight and marathon class.

Just hop online and play. if they can't see you they can't kill you. Don't worry about getting shot up at all. Start with the assualt rifles and work your way up after that.

For online you get 3 rounds (1 already pre loaded) for your gun when you spawn. The reason the SCAR isnt great without scavenger is because it has the smallest clip in the game. So with 3 rounds and the smallest clip your setting yourself up to fail....and Extended mags doesnt give you more ammo.

Had a 23 kill streak last night sniping at Derail (my favorite place to snipe)... unfortunately my team couldn't capture a flag to save their lives so they beat us like 200-170...

I'll post my setups in a minute... but off of my reactions I'm surprised nobody is rocking the M16A4 like me... that gun is so sick and has ZERO recoil... I'm consistently top 2 every match whenever I use it...

I like the Famas + stopping power a little bit better, only because the burst rate is slightly faster and it's a bit more accurate long range.

I run with M16, ACR, or M4A1. Red dot on them. Usually carry claymores. I like to use the One Man Army perk so I can switch between classes whenever I want, Coldblooded, and Ninja.

I never use the ACOG scope as it takes too long to bring up when close to an enemy, and the extra range you get with it is negligible compared to the red dot, imo. I don't like the holographic sight as much as the red dot, either.

You can't, you don't get to choose your killstreak rewards until level 10 I think, before that you are stuck with UAV Care Package and Predator Missle only.

Additionally, when we team up, we need to play some Domination or Headquarters. It's a hell of a lot more fun than the Team Deathmatch IMO.

How do I go about getting familiar with the different guns and weapons? Do I have to just hop in online and get my head blown off a few times?

I mean, I don't want to be fumbling around with a gun and you kinda have to play the campaign however it's layed out for you.

there is a range that you can visit in Spec Ops. but it doesnt really give you a true feel for the guns. its more of a timed trial.

whats yalls longest kill streak ? I got a 21 KS a couple of days ago..Not record breaking, but I doubt I'll ever top it , I'm just a casual player..

Had a 23 kill streak last night sniping at Derail (my favorite place to snipe)... unfortunately my team couldn't capture a flag to save their lives so they beat us like 200-170...

I'll post my setups in a minute... but off of my reactions I'm surprised nobody is rocking the M16A4 like me... that gun is so sick and has ZERO recoil... I'm consistently top 2 every match whenever I use it...
the m16 is terrible for me. i cant hit crap. maybe i need to get the red dot on there.

I run with M16, ACR, or M4A1. Red dot on them. Usually carry claymores. I like to use the One Man Army perk so I can switch between classes whenever I want, Coldblooded, and Ninja.

I never use the ACOG scope as it takes too long to bring up when close to an enemy, and the extra range you get with it is negligible compared to the red dot, imo. I don't like the holographic sight as much as the red dot, either.
the acog and the thermal both... just take way too long.

yeah, that glitch was the worst!! lol

I'm not sure that's always necessarily the case. AD and I had a good chat about it and it had nothing to do with "not knowing how to deal with it".

For me it had everything to do with not understanding how sitting in one window, staring down one alleyway the entire game just waiting and hoping someone would round the corner would equal a fun gaming experience for that player.

After that chat and talking with AD I can relate better to that style of gameplay, it still isn't mine, but at least I understand (his) reasons better.

OK two things..

1. I WANT TO play a COD map with that guy whose making the videos about campers and kill his azz...right from the corner of some room. Man that would be funny.

2. When I was a kid we too would run threw the woods and crash into dead trees and knock them over. Theres something very fun and cool about doing that. Well my best friend was 6-4 240lbs. He was huge. Well he sized up a tree one day and decided to leave his feet and swan dive into this tiny tree. He was about 5 feet in the air when he hit this tree, and bounced back like he was shot out of a cannon. He was hurt but I couldnt stop laughing my azz off. It was a funny, funny thing to see.

Same for me. I don't really understand the obsession with "campers". If someone kills you multiple times from the same spot, there really is no excuse for you. Even without kill cam, you should know where they are and either avoid them, or go kill them.

Hopefully I get to play a few more games with the VG squad. Seems like everytime I get on one of my cousins is on as well and bombards me with invites until I accept. :D

I agree 100 percent... However, people are obsessed with kill streaks/the nuke in this game and it's causing either a lot of inactivity or people playing a different game type, both of which are lame. It's especially aggravating in Hardcore games with no hud or killcam. We'll play HC headquarters and either

A) Crush the other team while one of their players goes 30-2 because he's playing TDM/going for a nuke. Still boring.

or

B) Get that guy on our team completely ****ing up the spawn by staying in the same spot all game, which ****in pisses me off.

The nuke was cool the first week. Now everyone just wants to play the game. Some dude goes 25-0 on a losing team it's completely obvious what kind of BS he was pulling.

Have you tried the Tar with just the iron sight and silencer? I feel like the iron sight on the Tar (and Scar) is pretty nice. I like to use a similar setup but I use Scavenger Pro or Slight of Hand Pro instead. The Tar is a pretty underrated gun and I it is way more accurate than the accuracy suggests.

This is actually what I ended up switching to once I unlocked it. When I'm not the resident headshot, I can sneak in some good rounds

Cold Blooded is a perk 2. You may be thinking about ninja.

Also, consider using hardline on that setup. Thats one of the few guns in the game that does not need stopping power IMO.

My bad, nah it was Cold Blooded and Steady Aim Pro because it says the accuracy isn't good, but I didnt' seem to have that hard of time aiming it.

Steady aim only helps for hipfire accuracy.

Yes hadline is for killstreaks.. For new guys Id reccommed the base setup of uav, care package and either sentry gun or predato missile.

Last night I was toying with the Scar + ACOG and I had a nice 25-2 run. I joined up with Killa and Bones but got there a little late. It could have been uglier :D.

Actually I started using a gun I've never used before and isn't used by many, I think it's quite underrated but I've been using the Fal on maps like Estate and Wasteland I like it better than the sniper rifles.
