Quick Scoping

Mofo posted a great sniper tutorial. Just wanted to post a few vids that are both very entertaining while at the same time make you realize no matter how good you get at this game there are people out there 10000 times better.

This montage is actually by some broad who just destroys. Pretty sure you need your sensitivity at 10 to pull this ****. Consider the default is at about 2:

i used to be amazed by warren and stokes in madden, but these quick scoping snipers are ridiculous. i dont even see the person and they are taking their heads off. its wild.

I was telling mofo this **** is like being the best rocket catcher in 05. Like I said, though, the 10 sensitivity thing makes it a little glitchy.

That girl gamer was insane. I've seen a lot of sniping, but that one was probably the best I've seen. Usually I see the 50 Cal snipers as inferior in comparison to those with the intervention, but that made me revoke my thoughts.

It's very one dimensional but pretty amazing. It looks like once you learn the gimmick that's what your stuck doing tho...I'm not b!tching that it's in the game but def looks like something that would get old and make the game much less fun (for me). I don't think "kinda glitchy" is the right term either haha...I am quite sure that quick scoping was not the intention of the developer.

Yeah, but do you know how difficult it is to do that consistently? It's not like guys in madden who abuse the flats and curl routes because they have no skill, this takes a tremendous amount of skill.

I agree though, it seems like there wouldn't be a point in doing anything else once you're that sick with the sniper. I think it's even crazier they use the default scope that you have to steady, I use the ACOG and I still can't make a fourth of those shots.

Resnor and I talked about it and maybe she is putting a dot or tape on her screen. The scope isn't out all the way on many of her kills which makes me think she has them targeted before she even scopes...

This apparently works for COD also. One company sells a killdot for COD.

Type kill dot cheat into google and read all about it. She could be that good but the way she half scopes people makes me think it could be a kill dot.

Quite possible. But there's a few factors.

Even with a killdot, it is incredible hard to sway your scope that quickly at just the right spot. I've ****ed around sniping on the chickens in Karachi and it is pretty damn hard to line them up one after the other.

She's doing it with the default scope, like Pat said. When they quick scope, they arent holding their breath to steady so there's a pre-shot sway. This would cause your shot to be off-line if going by that kill dot. Kill dot or not, the principle is the same: line your target up in the middle of your crosshairs prior to your shotor at least where you anticipate them to be . It's not that easy, but some people are just ridiculously good.
