Mid-Season Awards up to week 13 brought to you by - BEASTMODE
** BEST COACH **
Green Bay Packers - Huntin
Comments: Huntin has showed the adversity so far as one of the top coaches of the year, Packers started out shakey with a 2-4 record with questions rising whether huntin still had anything left in the tank, he was trading players and trying to look ahead to next season. However in these past few weeks he has showed flashbacks of his old playing days leading his team to a now 7-5 record looking to steal a Wildcard Spot in the NFC
** BEST RUNNING BACK **
Philidalphia Eagles - Maurice Jones-Drew
Comments: No question in my mind that MJD has been the most impressive back this season, MJD has over 1300 yards and 15 touchdowns on jus 181 attempts.. MJD has a per carry average of 7.3 and has over 500 yards after first contact .. No doubt he he has shown his true colors this season
** BEST QUARTERBACK **
Atlanta Falcons - Tony Romo
Comments: Tony Romo has had a off and on type of season, he has always been up there in the yardage category with over 3400 yards passing so far, but his touchdown to interception ratio hasent been the best. Over the past few weeks though he has vut down his interceptions by a lot and have 38 touchdown passes .. We will have to see if this will continue for him, and if he can keep up this passing dominance throughout the playoffs
** BEST WIDE RECIEVER **
Oakland Raiders - Andre Johnson
Comments: Andre Johnson has added another great season so far to his career racking up close to 1300 yards recieving so far on a weak Oakland offense and 9 touchdowns. Andre is also tied for the league league in receptions is most likely heading to Florida for another pro bowl apperance.
** BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER **
Atlanta Falcons - Patrick Willis - MLB
Comments: Patrick Willis has been a stud all season long. When he was with the Rams, Jets, and Falcons he never slowed down one bit. Willis has over 75 tackles this season to go along with his two sacks and 6 ints. Willis is leading the league in tackles and forced fumbles with 5. Willis has 26 tackles for loss, and hopes continue his defensive dominance throughout the playoffs.
** BEST DEFENSIVE TEAM **
Chicago Bears - Vincent
Comments: The Chicago Bears this season have stepped up to the plate when it became known that they were one of the toughest defense's in the league. The Bears are averaging a league low 11.3 points per game to their oppenents which is unheard of .. Along with that the Bears have over 25 interceptions on the team returning 4 for picks and over 30 sacks on the team. The Bears are looking like the 85' Bears, and should be a tough matchup for anyone in the playoffs.
** OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR **
Green Bay Packers - James Davis - RB
Comments: James Davis has had a great rookie season so far racking up over 1100 yards rushing on 189 attempts. The nasty number, is the number of TD's this guy has, 22. Davis is a hawk when it comes to finding the endzone and will most likely be doing a lot more Lambeau leaps before the end of the season.
** DEFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR **
Buffalo Bills - Michael Mitchell - SS
Comments: Much to my surprise, Michael Mitchell has really put himself under the radar as a huge force on the defensive side. Racking up more than 40 tackles in the top 15 of the league and having an impressive 8 sacks. Mitchell also has 10 tackles for loss and 3 forced fumbles as well as 2 fumble recoveries. Mitchell has really soared on this team as the defensive playmaker causing turnover and hopes to continue this next season.
** MVP **
Philidalphia Eagles - Maurice Jones-Drew
Comments: As i mentioned before, he has just had sucha steller season, especially being on such a weak team offensively and still being able to produce those numbers, hes got talent. Hes going to have a close race with the remainder of the season, because he has james davis, romo, and johnson to compete with, but for now it belongs to MJD..
Anyone want to object, feel free to post your thoughts and nominations and we will look and take close consideration to the Awards at the end of the season
