The Colts engineered a few good looking drives and came out of Jacksonville with an important win against their rivals. Pierre Thomas was featured in the run game and the Colts defense stepped up with 5 turnovers, one returned for a touchdown by Thomas Decoud, and a couple others killing drives in the red zone. The Colts offense, managed by new starting QB Tyler Thigpen, focused more on the ground game and fed the ball to Pierre Thomas on 13 carries for 75 yards and a TD. A robust 5.7 yards per carry has been unheard of for a Colts running back this year, and is a welcome sign as the Colts try to finish out the season with a string of wins, hoping to land a spot in the playoffs.

For the Jaguars, Frank Gore was practically unstoppably unstoppable, with 8 carries for 43 yards and 10 catches for 91 yards. But ironically the Jags only TD came off an Ian Johnson screen pass. Colts MLB Stewart Bradley killed the Jags first two drives with INTs, setting the tone for the rain-soaked game. The Colts couldn't take advantage of the first one as Garret Hartley missed a FG. Thomas finished off the 2nd opportunity with a strong 6 yard run. The Jags tied the score at 7 with Johnson's TD, but the Colts were able to take a 3 point lead going into the locker room.

GG Cascabel. good luck in the offseason. Gore is a beast!
