My son made it to the finals of his schools spelling B contest. He is a 4th grader and lost to a 5th grade girl.
16 kids from his school competed
All 16 made it through round 1
15 made it through round 2
8 made it through round 3
2 made it the the finals
Sam had to spell
dangerous
mildew
competitive
fallacy
palatable got him out
He gets to represent his school in districts with the winner, but is not allowed to go to reginals because its for 5th -8th graders only.
