My class of choice for almost every map is Scar with red dot, aa12... scavenger, stopping power and steady aim. It only takes 2 bullets center mass to kill with this. It's basically an automatic m16.

Have you tried the M4? It's basically the same gun with a slightly faster fire rate and a little more recoil. I prefer it over the ACR.

The M16's 3 round bust w/SP is basically a 1 trigger pull kill, and with Holographic it's one of the most accurate guns in the game. And the best thing is that as it's not auto..you aren't running out of Ammo...I can run 10-12 kills in a row without running out of ammo.

i got 2500 with the scar, 2000 with the acr, and 1700 with the m4, im assuiming as i keep prestiging, that i will get 2500 kills with every assult rifle, then ill retire the noob tube

yea it does take alot of shots, with danger close i can kill 3-4 bullets w the scar, however the acr is like a gatling gun if u use scavenger pro,

This. I nail guys from super long distance on one trigger kills all the time. I <3 that gun.

I use the ACR almost exclusively and I do quite well with it. Better accuracy, less recoil, larger clip, and quicker reload than the Scar.

i love the m16 as well... but i use the m4 mostly because you almost need that fully auto when ur up against 2-3 enemies at one time...

That's what I'm afraid of. I'm in love with the assault rifles and I don't wanna get 2500 kills with all the good ones then be left with crappy guns like the SMGs and large machine guns. I didn't get 2500 kills yet but every level I get 1000 kills with the ACR because I love it.

yeah... M4 is decent, but the scar and ACR just seem to work better for me.

when i leveled up and got the Scar... the VERY NEXT MATCH i used it and got the 10 kills to unlock the noob tube. in one match. now i know thats not much, but for me i was shocked, lol. the difference for me is amazing, lol

i dont get all the love for the m16. i have tried to keep going back to it, but it still does nothing for me. even tried it with the holo... its just not the gun for me.

I tried everyone's suggestions and they just weren't working out . Came back to the M16 w/holo and had a 13-3, 10-3, 8-1

It is weak on damage but put stopping power and with it's range minimal recoil and accuracy I find it to be one of the best guns out there. I use it anytime I go with an AR and I'm great with it.

I like the M16 as well but I prefer the automatic vs the 3 shot burst, just personal preference I guess.

yeah, i like to hip fire sometimes also... another reason i like the ACR.

I find Steady Aim Pro, especially with Assault Rifles, to be utterly useless. Are you really hipfiring all that much with the Scar? I'd assume no. I don't see much a difference when I use Steady Aim with the Snipers and/or Shottys either.

Make it Holographic and you got a deal (holographic dramatically improves accuracy...go into a private match and test it on a wall from different distances).

I will still say M16 is better though because you don't run out of ammo..and you can use a different perk outside of scavenger. JMO...basically the same gun...auto or 3 rd burst. Something about a 1 trigger pull kill makes me like the M16 more...
