Team Deathmatch: THE RIGHT WAY

Just got done for the night playing TDM w/Res and Beastie-Domm.

Except... hardcore!

Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. That's how the game is supposed to be played. No maps showing everyone unless you get a UAV which are much harder to come by because now people arent just running around the board helter-skelter like idiots.

1st time I had played that mode, very impressed. It makes EVERYONE use stealth to get from A to B.

Another selling point I thought was cool was that they removed the timer and the scoring system when you kill someone. (+100 doesn't appear)
You still have kills & assists vs deaths by pressing select. So you could add it all up if you wanted to.

Good gaming with you Joe...Hardcore is where it's at. It forces me to be more tactical and you can't just run around like a wildman all game. Hope to see you on again tonight. I am going to start playing alot more of the other hardcore game modes like search and destroy and headquarters.\

Ya hardcore is MUCH better...100X's better. Again, a decent strategy can be employed...having teams work together and such...I love the extra bullet damage...hate no killcams though...Lets campers run rabid. Looking forward to linking up tonight guys.

I have a question... i use the SCAR with stopping power in most game modes. I played a few hardcore games last nite and got 1-3 bullet kills. Is this normal or is it due to stopping power + hardcore mode? If i can get quicker kills like that i'd think about using something else for that perk.

yes its normal , you dont need stopping power in hardcore mode

If you like the scar then you'll love the M4 or ACR for HC mode...

I personally love the M16 because you save so much ammo...w/out SP it'll kill a dood instantly if you hit him..and it only uses 3 bullets...Love it.

Plus way less noob toobers with the lack of the riticule.

I haven't accepted invites from VG guys cause I can't stand normal team deathmatch. Hardcore for VG from now on!!!

My thing was, in normal mode, I'm trying to be stealth and here comes Jessie the Body Ventura from Predator running up from nowhere guns blazing.

It seems in hardcore, everyone is in tactical mode and because of it, if you're running around stupidly you get popped.

i cant stand TDM at all. i dont get why people like it so much. i like having an objective. CTF, S&D, Sabotage, etc.

When you press select you can look in the top left corner and it gives you the current score.
