Totally forgot about this gun.

With the Foregrip the accuracy is that of the ACR (more recoil though) and the damage is great, no need for SP.

It's not GREAT at long shots so isn't that good on certain maps...But After struggling to kill people with the ACR without SP I fell upon this gun and freaking love it, again, depending on the map.

I like it - I use it with Hardline when I'm playing on Terminal. Had a 35-5 match when playing with Bones last night on it. Good gun for that board. Also to note, AUG has the quickest "Raise Time" of all the LMG's.

Just curious...why use the ACR without Stopping Power?

LOL..cause I'm working on mastering it and I wanted to try hardline. Got wrecked last night, you saw lol.

I need to save my hardline challenges for the Aug and keep SP on with ACR...It's bad. Real bad.

Understood...yeah I feel you on that. I go through matches like that when I'm taking my lumps trying to unlock certain things on guns (working on Akimbo USP's at the moment).

I've been using this gun a lot, almost close to mastering it. I wasn't great with it at first but I'm really starting to get used to it with the grip. I can hit some long range shots with it too. I think I want to master 2 or 3 guns every prestige level, I got the UMP and now the AUG, not sure what's next.

Takes 2 bullets without SP to kill with a headshot...which is lame.

i have more kills with ACR than any other gun and over 20% acc and I never use SP. Ive never found it to be necessary but Im wondering if I should be using it?

Do it and watch you K/D boost.

If you just tap the trigger (to create more of a burst shot), the recoil is nothing.

It is the only gun I use anymore (except on derail).

But I found that once I stopped holding the trigger down, I was getting alot better with my accuracy and more importantly k/d.

Ya KGS...it literally takes half the rounds to drop people. With good accuracy you can kill 2 or 3 people before reloading, which is nice. SP makes the ACR the best gun in the game IMO.
