Is there a way to turn quickly in this game?

Because I don't understand how this works... if I have sensitivity high enough to turn quickly and look behind me, I can't hit sh1t, but if I turn it down so I can actually hit something then I can't turn around quick enough...

Is there a button that just turns you around? Some games have that.

Hey Cap, I was wondering this myself. I know when I used to play FPS with Mouse and Keyboard I had my sensitivity really high so that I could turn and hit somethign with ease....but in this game I can't find a good medium. Another issue I have is there is no fine line when aiming. If someones stands still I have to keep readjusting my crosshair because the damn analogue sticks are not very forgiving especially on long distance shots....I don't know if that makes any sense.

It makes perfect sense, I really want to play but its very frustrating going from keyboard / mouse to this. I just can't stand turning at slow speeds, its like instant death basically.

Some people have suggested to just use strafe to aim, so like put your aim cursor in a good spot and then strafe to put it on teh bad guy... which has worked better whenever I tried it last... but my inability to turn quickly to see whats behind me has been frustrating the sh1t out of me... I mean how the hell are we supposed to NOT get stabbed in the back when it takes 5 years to look behind you?!

I think that if you haven't done the keyboard / mouse thing, you'll never really understand :) But I can also see why it would get annoying to hear the same complaint over and over :)

If I liked COD more than I would probably grab one and join the fun. I think if Battlefield Bad Company is going to be as good as advertised I might do it. There's really nothing like playing that game with teh squad format, its endless fun.

When you aim L1, the sensitivity gets reduced drastically. So I guess you have to get it in your head to stop aiming, turn, and then aim again.

What I try to do is keep my back to something. I am not really the kinda guy to run into the middle of the fray. I come around where I think they are trying to be stealthy and when i do stop I always take a look around me quickly.

I think some of the problem too is picking out the enemy. There is one map, I think it maybe in Invasion?, there is crap blowing around in the air. I dont know how many times I see that, stop, and fire at air....lol. Then I think its just the crap blowing in the wind and the guy stabs me in the chest...lol



I am getting better at seeing the slightest movement. Also, I am using my radar A LOT which seems to help quite a bit. I have been using the "Ninja" perk with "Cold Blooded" and I love it when guys come up next to me and are not paying attention, I simply walk over and go "BOO!", and knife them....lol.

hhahaha I used to have the sameproblem. Like any other game, you get used to the soldiers vs scenery.

hahaha yah im just messing.. i was in the same boat about 5 years ago when i switched from playing Medal of Honor on the PC... was a tough switch
