I'm not as seasoned as some of you vets. I currently use the stinger rocket launcher because when I play online and a kill streak goes up people don't seem to try and shoot these suckers down. I have been having a ton of sucess doing this. The minute a Kill streak goes up I shoot it down before it can do any damage. I have usually 3 or 4 harriers and Cobras shot down a level. Do people find it this easy?

Did you know you can shoot down UAVs 543? They don't show up on your raidar but if you hear ENEMY UAV then just look up in the sky towards the outside of the map and turn around untill you find it, helps unlock cold-blooded pro faster:).


EDIT : I don't start with my STINGER class, but whenever I get killed for the 1st time after I hear a killstreak go up I switch to my stinger class in KILLCAM and shoot the thing down. Then switch back in the next killcam. You could try it, it opens up your sencond weapon for whenever there isn't a killstreak airborn.

While I never equip a Stinger I like the ATS, and especially the RPG. The RPG is great for bringing down Pavelows because the Pavelow won't emit a flare for it. 2 RPG's and a few bullets and the Pavelow is destroyed.

Forgive my ignorance on this, but what is a pavelow? I know about the Harrier strike where it sits up in the sky and guns people down. Is this the same as a pavelow?

I think I may have an idea of what it is. A couple times last week I shot two stingers at a harrier and the sucker didn't come down...lol Was that the pavelow?

Yeah, it's pretty easy to take them down most of the time unless they spawn trap you. If you play in highrise and keep spawning in the office, good luck trying to make it outside to aim the stinger without getting killed.

Generally it is pretty easy to take things out though, especially Harriers because they park right in front of you sometimes. I always have a class with cold blooded and a stinger missile so I can take them out quickly and get points.

The pavelow is a heavily armored helicopter that flies lower to the ground and takes two shots to destroy. They will generally rack up a good amount of kills if not taken down quickly.

I didn't know you could shoot those little UAVs down. I use the M4A1, and my stinger as a secondary. I don't use the scavenger perk so I need to watch my ammo somewhat. I try and use short, controlled firing to conserve ammo and I think it helps with my accuracy as well.

i've tried to hit a few kill streaks with the RPG... but i can't seem to get it.
