Last Stand

So I'm in last stand last night, the one that bleeds out no matter what cuz I'm trying to complete the prestige challenge for that. I use FMJ on the M9 so it gives a little more power to the shot, at least that's what I think :confused:. So a guy comes around the corner with his team mate behind him I take one shot and get a double kill for it. Killed them both with one M9 bullet. First time I ever did that. It surprised me at first I was thinking how'd I get a double kill. Anyone else done some crazy stuff in last or final stand?

FMJ doesn't give you increased damage, but If an enemy is behind cover and you shoot them, they will take reduced damage. FMJ allows you to shoot through surfaces giving you more bullet penetration. That's pretty cool that you killed 2 enemies with 1 shot from the M9...was it a headshot? If so that's one of the challenges...I think the "2 Bullets 1 Kill" one with the Skull emblem. I completed it a few months ago with the Barrett on Highrise - I got a headshot from across the map and didn't even know it but there was another guy directly behind him...got a sweet 2 for 1.

Quick tip for Last Stand if you didn't know : If you have the Raffica as a secondary you're able to use it in Last Stand. Makes it pretty easy to get Last Stand Pro because of how beastly the gun is.

Yeah I had already gotten the 2 bullets one kill I was using the Intervention on Skidrow. I knew about the penetration but figured it would increase damage because when you equip it the damage meter rises. That's confusing if it's only for the penetration but oh well. I have strayed away from the Raffica because I'm not that great at using 3 round bursts. Just like the Famas I just can't get it down for some reason :(

Its the best sidearm for HC. Acts like the M16.

Yeah I think a lot of people assume that, especially since you see it when choosing the attachment on the left.

haha I hate last stand. Yesterday I was playing and there was a guy in a building overlooking the courtyard area in Favela.

He's standing dead in the center of the window I shoot, he goes into last stand but he's below the window now I can't finish him. lol

He eventually stands up and I do the same thing. And again last stand puts him beneath the window where I cant shoot. :p

Had no flashbangs to throw and then someone kills ME.

hahaha that's great, I would've been unloading into that wall. I'm pretty sure that wall in Favela can be shot through without FMJ. It sucks when people last stand you and you aren't ready for it, but it's hilarious doing it to them and hearing them complain about it over the mic :p

Ok so at 2:24 that is ridiculous range for a secondary sidearm ha. I would've been pissed if I got killed from that far away with a pistol :eek:

FMJ can get you double kills like that from time to time...I think it's happened to me 2 or 3 times, but ONLY with FMJ from the increased penetration. I love the M9 also...Sometimes for fun I'll play with just the M9...My first time through, before I prestiged I got my tactical knife on 3 maps...75 kills...literally the best I had every played came with the M9 and Marathon...Akimbo M9's with Marathon and steady aim is insane on some maps.
