USA advances after Donovan buries in the back of the net in stoppage time. After 2 disallowed goals, countless missed calls in the box (including a blatant elbow that drew blood by Algeria) the USA not only advances but wins their group. That's USA 1 Refs 0

Good for them, great game they played it could have just as easily been 5-0

I know, that's why it would have been a disaster had they taken a draw. I don't know how Dempsey missed earlier...

Hopefully Serbia can pull out a win so we don't have to go up against Germany or Ghana.

You're at the tourney right? Is there actually an "anti-US" feel from people there? Because I've heard that a few times that the refs are biased and the fans are biased against the US, but anytime I see people watching the US games in other countries they seem to be rooting for the US. Am I wrong, or is the popular sentiment that the US is sort of the underdog favorite?
