Revisiting the Raffica Silenced

AKA The Sex Pistol. I'm sure you guys have seen SeaNanners Nuke without Killstreaks using just the Raffica Silenced, but I've been running around with this like a primary and it really doesn't have a weakness at all.

The aim down sight and draw time is one of the fastest in the game so you're never really at a disadvantage if surprised by an enemy. At long range it deals 30 damage per bullet, so with stopping power that's 42 dmg per buller = 1 burst kill.

I've been running it in this class :

Scavenger
SP
Ninja

Maybe i'm telling you guys something you already know, but give it a shot if you haven't yet. It a good change up if you feel like the game has gotten stale from using the same old weapons. This gun is just a blast to run around with.

For realz? I think I've used it more than any other secondary aside from the Spas. Probably have about 5,000 kills with the Raffica. Raffica Akimbo are insane - incredible range.

I hardly ever even use my secondary. I really only run with the Spas or the M1014

Interesting. I'm all about switching to my secondary just about every time I turn a corner (assuming I'm using a AR/LMG etc..). I ain't tryin to get commando'd! Also I feel like it keeps the game fresh, and Secondarys in this game are basically Primarys anyways. On a board like Favela I pretty much just run around with Akimbo G18's and Marathon Lightweight. You saw that Flawless the other night. That's how we do.

I love the raffica, i just prestiged so i don't have it, i used m9 tac knife until i tried that and that's my main second weapon, it's not under powered like hand guns, and doesn't jump like the other machine pistols, tmp doesn't jump much but te clip goes fast, and has range I don't mess w shotties

Yeah, PP2000 is another that is virtually a Primary. Same exact damage as the MP5K (40/20) and no recoil. I like it silenced but the clip is just too damn small so I run it w/ Ext Mags.

It's a 1 burst kill from anywhere chest up from long range, 2 bursts otherwise. On Bailout I was upstairs near the B flag and I was picking guys off in that 2nd story room across the parking lot. I feel like it's the perfect compliment to a gun like the mp5K which is best in close quarters combat anyways.

Yeah good call cuz when I run with the MP5's and there is someone far away I can't even try to shoot because I know I won't hit them.

once i hit 1000 kills with the spas, to get the emblem, i'm gonna switch to the rafficas. my first time around i only used spas and g18 akimbos.

Mofo has a permanent don't join on his status lol. Mine only had that status when we were in GB matches.

The Raffica is awesome. Love that gun. Then I started using the TMP...that gun is awesome, and crazy accurate when sighted in, even from 30-40 feet.

I run with Raffica akimbo extended mags as my secondary on all my classes that dont have OMA. They are nasty but it pisses me off sometimes when I have multiple enemies infront of me and I shoot at one (thought it took him out), move to the 2nd guy (actually kill him), then as I start shooting at the 3rd guy (goes into last stand, go figure), the 1st guy isn't dead and I'm like WTF. lol.

Ultimately I think it would depend on your primary and what perks you're running, but it all comes down to personal preference. I run raffica akimbos with guns like the Famas,Tar, AK, RPD....which I run with Slight of Hand. If I run a solo raffica I use it with a primary like an SMG or a Sniper rifle for the added mobility.

so i started using the raffica last night and racked up maybe 30-40 kills with it. i was using SP. it did great at range, but i had problems with close encounters which is the main reason to use the side arm in the first place. rather than trying to hip shoot i always aimed down the sight.... resulting in a bunch of misses and quite a few hit markers but not kills. i need to treat it more like a shotty and take my time with aiming. with the raffica i was trying to rush it but you can't just spray with the burst.
