Looks like they did scrap the Nam thing and make it the entire Cold War era. Seems like an MW3. Everything looks pretty solid except the random *** dolphin dive and the remote control car. Definitely encouraging considering how bad WAW was.

Didn't look bad, if those were the maps they look pretty good. The remote control car does seem oddly out of place but it might not be too bad. Is it just me or did it look very similar to the first Modern Warfare, presentation wise?

I think you are spot on. A lot of people think the one thing treyarch has over IW is its map making. I personally loved the COD4 maps, but the ones in WAW were impressive, and altogether beautiful.


The other thing is, Trey Arch basically tries to copy what IW does well, since they are the trendsetters, so presentation-wise I wouldn't be surprised. There were a lot of complaints about WAW and especially MW2, so I think we are going to get a game (I hope) that is essentially a reaction to those complaints. I don't think they need to build on the basic premise too much. When you do that, remote controlled cars start showing up in your game.

Also, the ballistic knife looked BOSS!
