View Full Version : This game isn't worth the 49 cents I paid for it....

Took my 6 year old down to Gamestop to buy a new game for his DS. He saw NCAA I said absolutely not we are getting a DS game. Argued with him for about 20 minutes until I said "screw it." He loves football. Had 3 trade ins that I got 40% extra on reserving MW3. Another 10% with the Power Up card. So after leaving $5 on MW3 this game was 49 cents. The sad thing is it isn't worth 49 cents.
He played with the one button control for about an hour and a half then went outside. Didn't want to play anymore because it was "boring".
I then started playing. This game is bad. Best version for NG, but still bad. Still can't put my finger on everything that makes it a poor game, but there is definitely something wrong. One thing I can put my finger on is gameplay is still poor. Until they start from scratch with a new engine this game will never be what it can be.

What are you comparing too? This is the best NCAA to date.

HC is the abyss when it comes to NCAA. He's never going to be happy with it.

Not even close. LG NCAA games were and still are better than this failure. EA and 2k games were both better. Just watch you tube videos like these.

dude....we get it. You hate NCAA. Either don't play it, go make your own game or play something else.

I don't post for you. I post for me. If you don't like the things I post don't read it.
Bottom line, this game is trash..... again. It will continue to be trash just like Madden will until EA decides to invest into a physics engine for football.

I'm with HH with just about everything he said. Is NCAA '12 the best this generation? No doubt. Is it still light years behind the games back on PS2? Most definitely. At this rate, NCAA '15 SHOULD be on par with the PS2 games. Maybe.

Imagining you fighting with your kid saying the same stuff you say on here for 20 minutes in a gamestop is a hilarious scene to imagine.
