I don't know if I will reserve 2006 from EA, after last year. Then again once we get closer to it I will get excited and probably get it right away anyway. I just hope it is better than this years game.

I hear ya on that one. the more i play online, the more i'm turned off from the game. not to mention this years super LB's and DB's. i really liked the engine and the way things ran from 04. honestly, they could tone down HFA and use 04 and i'd be happy. at least we wouldn't have the chuck and duck philosophy that we have now, cause 04's db's would catch just about everything if they got their hands on it (none of this batted ball for 2 minute crap)

I love the way WR screens, and even HB screens worked on 04. The WR screen out of the shotgunY Trips was a great play. You could either hit the receiver on the screen or go for the post route by the SE. Man am I hoping EA makes this game more like NCAA 2004.

I've never understood the point of putting anything on pre-order reserve. Most stores order so many copies of everything 'big' that there is no need.
I go into stores and see people waiting in line for their reserved copy while I walk over to the shelf and pick one up, no waiting.

with most things (games) that are big, the company releases other things as a bonus for pre ordering. i got the ncaa guide last year for free for preordering.
halo actually sold out where i'm from and so did GTA San Andreas, so pre ordering does have it's advantages.
i don't pre order everything though. i'm like you, i'll just walk up and pull one off the shelves.
also, sometimes by pre ordering, you get your copy earlier than the release date (by a day or two), so that's cool. i got both madden and ncaa a day early this year for pre ordering.

Sometimes they will give you a discount too....but normally I just wait unless it is a good deal.......
