This might have been posted before!
I think there should two games from EA. One for the people who like to chuck it up on almost every play and one for those who want to play a serious and realistic game. Hopefully EA is reading this (yeah right!!) and they will think about it enough to release two games '06 or '07.

doubt it will happen. they'll say that's the purpose of your friends list.
i don't really agree with your suggestion though. instead of two seperate games, how about two seperate modes like simulation and arcade for online play?

If I recall correctly, on every wish list post at every madden and ncaa site; someone [including myself] always asks EA for this. And their response is still always the same: " That's why we've included a buddy list, so now you can find games with the people who like to play the game the way that you do."
If they perhaps did it like this:
You log onto the online portion of the game, while in the main lobby you have the following choices:
Arcade Lobby ( Anything goes, glitches, no penalties, etc....)
Simulation Lobby ( Straight up, good ole fashioned Football )
Rushing Attack/ OT drill

Giving the glitchers and deep ball chuckers there own domain to ruin would certainly make the game more feasable for the rest of us.

if every web site says the same thing, then why isn't ea listening??? come on EA, the economic system works on supply and demand. we're demanding this, so you guys need to supply it.
i think that if they seperated the rooms that people would take advantage of the sim guys.

I guess I was really referring to game modes like mascot games, create your own sign, etc., things like that. I don't play online. But I do play against my buddies, and they like to play on "easy mode". They really don't like to play str8 up. They much rather find some kind of glitch to win a game. I on the other hand like to play as realistic a game as possible. That's why I suggested two games. The arcade one could have mascot games, cheerleaders games, or whatever strange modes they want to include. In other words, this game would be so simple you just take it out of the box and play. The other game "would not" include mascot games or any other modes that might take up memory space. This extra space could be used for a design your formation/play mode. And of coarse the play would be much more challenging.

I think I see what you mean rr. If EA put out two types of games, then as you said; those who enjoy the mascot games, cheat cards, and playing an arcade type of game could have their disk. And when they log on to play online they will only be able to play on the "Arcade server" against other people who like to play that type of game.
For those of us who like a simulation style game and using stradegy, wit, and knowledge to win games we would get the "Sim" game. So that when we log on to play online we'll be connected to the sim server.
So in theory, guys playing with an arcade disc cannot access the sim server.
I think that could work.

it would work, but think about the costs.
more shipping, more labor, more people.......EA's all about money and maximizing profit.
it's a good idea in theroy, but i seriously doubt it will hapeen
