I think you should be able to play in the AA side and not just be able to have the AA teams move into single A.

Also I think the AA teams should have recorded standings.

Lastly I think there should be player transfers. So you can lose players to other teams and gain some.

division 2 and division 3 teams in the game would be cool, I like this suggestion by COG

I think that that is an awesome idea because if you have a favorite division 1 AA then you should e able to play with them in there own league and if they get good they can move thier way up to a division 1 A conference
