who should be the coverboy for ncaa 2006??

i say give it to a player deserving of it. i say give it to david green, the most winningest d1 qb in ncaa history. ok ok, so i'm a dogs fan, leave me alone!!!

i think braylon edwards is well deserving of it, guy was almost unstoppable.

cedric benson could make an argument too, so could david pollack (leave me alone with the georgia jokes)!

what do you guys think?

they usually select a guy that's going into the draft blueweeds. i think if they put a back on there it's gotta be benson, guy dominated

hey if they were gonna put an underclassmen on, it should be adrian petterson lol

There's been only one defensive player to make the cover, Charles Woodson, perhaps Matt Roth or that monster DE from Georgia David Polluck. But David Green, please!

i'm a georgia fan and i don't even think pollack is the best DE in the nation. that belongs to either marcus spears from lsu or dan cody of oklahoma.

it's not like greene isn't deserving of the cover, the guy is the most winningest qb in division 1A history. guy has more wins than peyton manning for cryin out loud

I know this is a reach but how about Alex Smith. He could be the #1 pick this year.

doubt he'll be the #1 pick, looks more like aaron rodgers

smith would get my vote though. guy's awesome and doesn't get near the credit he deserves

Mel Kiper had Smith going number #1 and who am I to argue with the great Mel Kiper. I personally would take smith over rodgers. I saw smith 3 times and he looked unstoppable. Good arm and extremely accurate. Slim pickings at the QB spot this year.

I think Benson is a good choice, but the best choice is Braylon Edwards of Michigan. Edwards was the best WR in the nation while Benson was probably second to a freshman.

You guys are forgetting an obvious choice who I think will probably get the nod: Jason White. Heisman winner, 2 time finalist, won a skad of games, plus he's well known. Sorry, but David Greene is not as well known nationally as White. I'm not sure I've even seen Georgia play in several years now, last time I remember was against Florida at least 5 years ago on Halloween.

um.................no. white's one hit away from being on the sidelines permenatly. not to mention he's looked like crap in the 3 biggest games of his career.

like i said, personally i like smith better, but the 49ers have the first choice and he's already from cal, so..... put two and two together.

Zach Mills - haha

I say Leinart from USC

I'd say Leinart. Best QB in the nation

It definitely won't be Leinart. I'm sure there is some stupid NCAA rule not allowing current players to be on the cover. Jason White would have been a good choice if he didn't choke again. Benson or Edwards will be on the cover.

no currnet players are allowed on the cover. they have to be amitted to the players union, since college players cant makemoney of a product containing their likeliness a current player would never go on there. i personally think its white, edwards, benson... from left field would shazar (is he a senior? from mich), rodgers, , clayton, the caddie, maybe even antrel rolle (remeber these have to be marketable players that the site of them makes u buy the game...)

What about the first ever cover with 2 guys, say Antrel Rolle from Miami and Braylon Edwards from Michigan going up for a jump ball? That would be sweet.

"With the 4th pick in the 2005 NFL draft, MY Chicago Bears select... Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan!!!"
