So, I was jonesing for some football action yesterday, but I refuse to give NCAA2005 another look. So I went to best buy and bought Madden05.
All they need to do for 06 is take Madden and repackage it with college teams. The gameplay is so much better I cannot begin to describe. I didn't require contortions to complete a swing pass. Double covered fly patterns were reasonably well defended. Linebackers didn't jump 80 feet into the air.
Just an infinitely better programmed game. Too bad I hate pro football.
EA, do us a favor and stick with one engine, and the one that works!

idk on that one fluff, it's obvious that ncaa isn't as glitchy as madden in. granted we have to put up with da bomb, but we don't have to put up with the punt block/field goal glitch, the studda, dime nano, or any other type of nano for that matter.

I'm talking about general game play, not glitches. Glitches should be removed period. There is no excuse for that stuff.
I'm talking about throwing a swing pass and having the RB actually catch the damn thing. Hell, ANY pass and having the guy catch it.

i still don't know about that one fluff
for whatever reason, every year ncaa feels less glitchy than madden does. i like the fact that i can juke someone (not every time) to gain extra yardage. don't get me wrong, i think i know what you're tryin to say. i'd love to see them put in the defensive pm thing, but we really don't have enough time (25 second play clock) that would allow us to make those adjustments
i'd like to be able to loop the dline like you can do on madden

Actually, I prefer the less effective juke in Madden. I can juke and spin way too easily in NCAA, even with a big-*** FB or TE. Just seems more realistic in Madden.
But again, I'm talking about gameplay not glitches, glitches have to go period, ragardless of which engine they use.

There shouldn't b plymakers in college ball. That is what manually attacking is all about. That is what separates College from professional ball. U have more structure in college ball and less freelancing. So I think it is a good idea to leave plymker with the pros...

i feel ya, both of ya'll
i don't know if more glitches get discovered on madden b/c more people play that than ncaa. i'd love the madden engine if they fixed the glitches, but if they didn't just leave us with what we got
