Make Triangle = Catch Please.

let's make sure....

triangle = catch and
L1 = swat!!!

I make so many moves BACK to the ball and press Triangle for a SURE FIRE interception, only to watch my DB stick his one hand up and grab his crotch with his other hand and knock it to the ground on first down. Now, I PRESSED TRIANGLE to catch, NOT the grab your balls button. I didnt even know we had a grab one's balls button.. But I can assure you this.... I would never press it.. On 3rd and long or 4th and long and at the end of the halfs and game I may press the "knock it down" button.

you prolly have the one of the assists on,in custom gameplay or something. there is one that , will automaticly make a play on any user controlled players on defence, if u turn that off, then if u push y he should go for the interception

Nah this happend to me too... I play on All-Madden in franchise mode and when im set for an on the move INT sometimes he will stick on hand up and semi-deflect the ball. Whats worse is when you know the wideout has not chance at getting it.

Just turn assist OFF and it wont do that anymore, but they should fix that when a qb throws in a crowd and u r in perfect position for an INT another defender jumps in front of you and TIPs it, maybe implement like a "call for it" where on defender in a multiple crowd can call for the pick

I thought all of the assists were automatically off when you turn All-Madden on???

ya that's what I thought but apparently if you check during a game, they are still on or something like that...
