how many times have you wanted to motion a wr or back only to find out you can't get the right guy? i hate that. if we were allowed to motion anyone, imagine how much the playbooks would open up?

if you've played madden, you know what i mean and how i feel

i can understand us not having package subs (too many to program into the game with each team having different packages subs according to pb), but at least let us be able to motion more people than just 2 guys. just my opinion

i really hope EA is listening. i'm probably too late though

Example: Flexbone Normal

I would love to be able to motion the wingbacks to create a trips look on either side instead of just being able to create the "1/2 wishbone" look thats available now. Same for "Ace Empty"........can only motion the RB and slot reciever. Just my 2cents

Dj,

Great Idea but I would add one caveat.

Unlike Madden where you have to motion the receiver ACROSS the entire formation. I'd like to see them add unlimited motion AND SHIFTING where we determine the type of Motion, the length of the motion and the stoping point of the motion.

For instance have you ever heard of return motion...
this is where the receiver starts in motion, reaches the qb and returns to his orginal position. Another variation sometimes called crazy or idiot motion has him turn back as IF he's going back to his orignal positon then he runs back across the formation.

With Madden, its not easy to do this (the few times) I've played you have to run your guy ALL the way accross the formation and then return him.

Another reason for the length of the motion is the ability to put in A TRUE SPEED SWEEP PLAY or Fly Sweep, people familiar with the flexbone formations know about the sweep, this play would be much more effective if you could hand off to the player while he is in motion.

i see what you're sayin (i play madden too, and i hate you have to motion a guy all the way across). leave motion how it is, (i use crazy motion now) just allow us to move who we want where we want.

Also, I'd be sweet to be able to moton more than 1 player. Look at some Rams games. THey have 2,3 or 4 players in motion, sometimes simulateniosuly. so yea that'b great

that's more of a formation shift because you have to be set in order to move more than one person unless they all move at the same time (according to the rule book)

I would like to be able to motion one guy, set him in a new position, then motion a second guy. This would really enable you to shift the strength of your O and hurt the D in a vulnerable spot.

Actually, I'd like it so if you motioned the second guy before the first had been set (at snap), then you'd get a penalty.

I agree completely. You should be able to move all eligible players within a specific formation. Also after you motion one guy you should be able to motion another -- i.e. Utah.
