Like they did in the NCAA game where it does not matter what teams you choose theu will have equal attributes. By doing this you might get to play a team outside of Atl, Philly, or Minn.
IMO, that is pretty dumb. they should have very accurate player stats. every team has a few good players, and bad teams should be bad and good teams should be good. other than vick, the falcons aren't that good. the patriots should be the best team, they should actually make teams good who are in real life. the vikes D should be worse, along with the chiefs. the game is a simulation and it is not simulating real football if all teams are equal, that is totally untrue. just my opinion. there are about 15 teams in this game that are probably very good.

I think for the most part, many of the teams are good enough. I like taking the bad teams and playing online with them. makes it fun when you beat a really good team with the 49ers. I never once played the equal teams on NCAA, so I wouldn't be a big fan of it......
ONLINE practice mode would be something different though.

The Cards are underrated, I use them more often than most people, they have a solid WR group, good secondary good linebackers, a very good d-line, a decent RB a subpar QB (but thats ok) and a terrible o-line, IMO pretty good team, but I hate using the 49ers online they just stink and don't have enough team speed on dfence.
i used the cardinals before and i am a good player but i can still admit they are bad. they have the worst starting QB in the game. their RBs are not good, and besides the OL cannot block for them. their TE is not that bad. their WRs aren't very good, theyre okay. no playmakers, it seems like fitz and boldin are the same player. i used them and dropped about 10 passes in one game, but none with fitz. boldin is good but i dunno if he is a true #1 IMO. their D is okay. they have a good DL and good LBs. Their top CB is very good, but he just got traded to the pats. the others are average at best. very good SS and below average FS. there is a fairly large difference between the pats and the cards. the pats have retarded depth at almost every position. capable backup RB, 6 WR's, 4 TEs, a bunch of okay OL. About 5 or 6 good D linemen, seymour and wilfork are very good. pretty good LBs though great in real life, some lack speed like mike vrabel. Their CBs are excellent, poole and law are deadly to put on a #1 and #2 WR. Very good FS and a SS who is very underrated, his low speed makes him a liability in madden, while he is quite possibly the best at his position. i'm sorry, but i don't want to hear how these two teams aren't different because it is untrue. How many starters are there on the cardinals, not special teams, that you would rather use than a starter on the pats. other than leonard davis. the only one i could think of is possibly adrian wilson but other than that mostly every other patriot player is better.
