I was thinking about this the other day. Everyone is always arguing back and forth between "cheese" and "glitches" and whats "arcade" and "sim" football. So the brilliantly simple idea came to me of SEPERATING THE two. Now this should be quite easy because EA already has one football game thats supposed to be simulation (madden), and one football game thats supposed to be more arcade (nfl street). So why dont they take out the studda and other obvious glitches that affect the AI. Make them "patchable" somehow on madden. However, instead of completely removing them, INCORPORATE them into NFL street. Make a studda step. Make it into a 37-hit combo like "Killer Instinct". Let the people who want to play an arcade game show off their "stick" skills with others of the same mindset. Thus giving both parties their own game in which to compete.
My only negative I see thus far is the money that's involved in winning at madden. The money is a huge reason why players play the "win at all cost" style of game rather than simulation. If the money never changes then I dont see that attitude changing.
So barring some shift, into big money NFL street games, my idea is probably grasping for straws, but I'd be interested in hearing other opinions on it.
