Invisible to your opponent. So he will have to ply real defense. Play the man, and not ply the space. I get sick and tired of people trying to run to a spot, and just stop. Let them ply defense, let them guess and ply the man, instead of plying the circle. What do u think of that one????

It sounds good to me, I think the circle is only necessary for returning kicks so it should be invisible for passes just like it is for laterals. It certainly would make defending the pass more difficult and you would have to become more adept at reading ball flight on offense as well. I don't know if casual gamers would want it so the ability to turn the ball circle on or off would need to be added.

Freaking AWESOME!!!!!! That is a great concept. I mean that's how it is on Saturdays and Sundays, I don't see a spot on the field where the DB's and Safeties hang out at.
From what I hear, 2006 is up and running, maybe they'll put this in for '07.

Visible to the offensive plyer. So he can manuever his man, and perform his manual acrobatics. It would only b active for on-line ply. Of course if u r plying someone head to head, then they would b able to c it, but for on-line ply only the offensive plyer would c the circle. Of course we know that the cpu would still react to the circle any way... Dumb computer....lol

it sounds good in theory awn, but we're right back to square one. i mean the offense would be at a huge advantage. if you took control of the db, you risk having him outta posistion. if you let the cpu control him, you're just asking to be user catched on.
make it invisible to both players, just show the shadow of the ball and whoever plays the ball well will have the best chance at making a catch
good suggestion though, i can understand why you suggested it

In real life. The receiver knows where the ball is going, and the defense doesn't. What is the difference???
The difference is that u have people who ply the space, as oppose to ply the person. The defense's job is to stop the offense.

oh don't get me wrong, i feel you 100% and your whole reasoning for it makes perfect sense. it just seems like something that will be abused by people...........especially online

the defense doesn't play the ball??? you sure?
When a defense is in zone coverage and the ball's in the air, they do play the ball.

I sick of opponents trying to get right in front of you slowing you down just so they can try for the pick only because they can see the circle! Your right look for the ball then respond. I feel that one my friend!

Not a bad idea, but I could see someone abusing it (because if the Offense can see it everytime and throw to the same spot everytime, you could end-up with money plays using the user catch).....it could work however, if EA was able to give you tighter controls/awareness on D...not a bad idea, just would need some serious development before putting it in the game...(but I hear ya on people playing the circle and not the man)
