View Full Version : Assimilating Own Playbooks Online

Im not really sure why we can't create our own playbooks for online play. I'm not saying that we are allowed to create our own formations or plays. I just don't understand why we can't bring formations and plays together from other playbooks to create our own online, just like we are allowed to do offline for 2005.

If EA wants to really get people excited about online play for 2006, this would be a SWEET addition.

created plays............no. created playbooks yes. i don't see why not. it'd be awesome if we did though, that would mean i wouldn't have to waste a timeout to set audibles or rosters either!

You couldn't have created plays online cause there would be too many glitch plays.

I just think EA should make it possible to assimilate playbooks the same way its done offline. I don't see how that would cause them any problems for online play.

Dude, Created plays online would be the bomb!
i'd have to say i agree with reno.............again! lol

it'd be a glitch fest, people would find programming errors and run rampid with it. created pb's would be nice though

You can still do that. Just create a profile, pick a team's playbook, and then set your audibles. As long as that profile is active when you log on, your audibles will be set for that playbook. The only difference is, you have to manually select that playbook at the match-up screen, whereas on 2004, it automatically gave you the PB on your profile. I have about 7 different profiles that I use depending on which playbook I'll be using.
