I would like to see the defense get a little ( alot ) more realistic, first of all I do like alot with the game, but there is also much to hate.

For one I think you should have to play the game with two base defenses and one pass oriented defense. In other words if you start with a 3/4 or 4/3 then you should have to play that until the halftime, when you can go into the locker room and make half time adjustments to your defense. I think it is entirely unrealistic to think a college football team can go through 7 different defenses until they find something that works. I think this would cut down on people using one formation because its got a really good cheese play in the defense.

I would like to pick my line defense ( stunting) then pick what my linebackers and d'backs are going to do, like what they have in the ESPN game, works well. How about something similiar to hot routes, pick a defensive back and hot route him either into a zone, man to man or blitz without having to play him.

That stupid *** tip drill has got to be toned down, ok two players make a play on the ball but the whole freaking team give me a break. Also there far to many times when you make a pass and the whole damn team is there to cover the wideout, lets slow that down too.

Defensive linemen and linebackers are way to fast laterally, let them get better north and south not east and west, ya your gonna have some studs that are good but give me a break with some of the speed you see from east to west.

Offensively I would like to see the Screen play a feasible play, you have to be really sneaky to get that mess to work just 35% of the time. I thought ESPN had a really good feature with the break a tackle button, where you can fight for yardage. Lob passes should only work if your player has found a hole in the coverage and is uncovered, that is unless the wideout is a stud like fitzgerald or williams.

And lastly, the homefield advantage is a good feature, just overdone way too much, I mean if I call a hot route and the wideout runs the route perfectly but the quarterback throws it to the wrong area. I mean what gives he called the damn hot route, ok I could see the wideout running the wrong route, but the QB throwing to the wrong spot.

Ok, one more last thing, get rid of the damn glitchs before you ship the game out, not finding all the gliches in a game is unforgiving, nothing is worse than having to play some dude that really has no game, but knows all the glitches in a game.

I am sure I could point more stuff out, but I cannot think of it right now.
