How do you stop them? I've gone some 3-4 man and also blitzed heavy to the side the rb is on to try and prevent him from getting out from behind the line.

What does everybody else do?

play with the MLBer, and pick six it.

Get on a lineman and bat the ball down when it is thrown.

Yeah, your best bet is to use a DE and manually cover it.

A middle zone with short coverage will discourage the angle route. There are some in nickel and 3-4, I will look at the playbooks and let you know which ones are effective. I use the angle play on offense all the time, I love it. Against man and man/zone coverage it's tough to stop, as the HB almost always gets a step or two on the LB assigned to him, and the FS is usually too deep to converge to the short middle. But a short drop zone will put defensive players in the area the HB will be running to. This should get you some tipped balls and maybe even a pick now and then.
