If the guy is anything other than the worst WR on the team, or it's just a really bad team, he should make those catches. I'm sorry but I have a play where I get a WR on a LB on a real short pattern and I hit him on the dead run with a wide open field and he either: A) drops it 10 yards away from the QB or B) the QB throws way behind him so he has to stop and let the LB recover to knock the ball down or tackle him or C) the QB makes him dive for the ball so he gets no YAC.
