4-2-5 SS double blitz, all man.
Delay bump. Bring the safeties down off the edge of the LOS.
What's a good way to slow something like that down?
Going to heavy set would be the best, I would think.

lol delayed bump, i'd eat that for breakfast and have you droppin your jaw. i agree, it's a good defense if you don't know how to counter it. but a glitch deserves a glitch is what i always say
if you're gonna do that though, you may want to AB the SS cause if not, the middle of the field is wide open
clearout all anyone?

Well, no, I don't run it.
I prefer a game with no AB, no delayed bumps, no HB-toss pass or the like....
I was wondering what you usually do to counter a delay blitz like that.
How would the middle be so open? If they're all getting bumped? (or perhaps I don't know the form you speak of)

it's common knowledge that there is an unbumpable route out of clearout all, so if you're playin man, he'll be wide open (unless you delayed bump)

Well yeah, I was wondering what the best options would be to counter that delay bump in that play.

send the back into motion and hr him to do an in, he should be free (especially if you motion him to a 3 wide side)
i agree with craw though, i'd run one play and eat you alive

I took one from DJWill on the SG Bunch Clearout. A buddy was delayed bumping and AB'ing me from the 4-2-5 SS Dogs also.
Had to hot my HB to block for a little more time, I would hit the "O" WR on inside slant for short pickups and out stick'em for bigger yardage.
Then he would run the same D again but try to take away my inside slant by bringing down the SS, so, I would hot my inside slot WR to a streak and motion him just past O-line, my buddy couldnt cover the inside slant and the streakin WR in the middle also.
Needless to say, I scored 3 TD's on 8 plays in one quarter. The delayed bump is useful and the 4-2-5 SS Dogs is too, but can be easly countered like everyone has said.

if you really want a good defense that covers everything
dime man cover 2
delayed bump
bring the safeties over towards the sidelines and deep
spread the d line
take each end and place them out by the sidelines
take a DT and manually cover the middle of the field
that's easier said than done though, cause you'll probably only be able to move either the safeties or the ends, one or the other
i say move the ends for a scrambling qb and move the safeties for a pocket qb
but then again, it's easily countered if you know what's coming.

How does that not get killed by QB draw plays, or option choice plays? Hell, even a speed option play would seemingly kill that.
I'd run the ball every down until you got out of that.

most people get frustrated and try to throw and keep throwing, i mean if you did that i'd adjust
i'm not the kind of player to keep running the same play over and over (on defense at least lol) until i get it to work. if you beat something of mine then i'll change it up, mix things up

i had alot of success lately stopping the run and pass with the 4-4 cover 3
4-2-5 cover 2.
I like to mix in the zone blitzes out of both of those formations and the nickel cover 2 thunder? lol thats the one, i think the one where the inside lb blitzes and the safety.
These are good for the early downs or the 4-2-5 cover 2 is especially good down in the redzone.
trust me i recognize each of these defenses have flaws to be exploited but i have found that these keep alot of guys in position to make the play if u got the stick.

4-4 cover 3 is an under rated defense. i use that against ace normal and i form. with a couple shifts it's extremely effective.

How can you guys call the plays youve described a great defense when you admit that in order for it to be effective you have to user "delay bump" which I guess is your word for super bump which is a glitch. Thats like saying people saying they have a great offense even though half of its based on WR Direct.

i don't even know who the hell you are, but i didn't say delay. i said it's more effective with delay, but you don't have to delay (with the dime defense). if you knew your stuff, you'd realize you can't delay with the 4-2-5 zone defense that was described earlier

Please point out to me where I said you could jam in zone. I didnt. I said you cant call a defensive play in which you have to super bump to get it to work a great defesnive play or strategy. You also wanna know how well 4-2-5 double SS blitz works? Run an out vs it.

JJ knows his stuff. He is one of the best passers online without having to lob it deep. His vision and ability to read a defense is sick.
