so a guy will call this and the receivers go run their routes as usual then a couple seconds into the play the DBs start to jam them? I have no idea......am I right?
Never saw this, I sold 2005 a week ago.

yes..................
Yea, and if you run the right play versus it, its an easy 6.

I heard that you ran this play by
(1) Opening the window next to your PS2 or XBOX
(2) Ejecting the disc during gameplay
(3) Throwing it out the window
(4) Realizing what you have just done..
Thus, the WR will be jammed up on your screen until you turn your PS2 or XBOX off...GLAD I COULD HELP! ! !

Even against cover2man?
If so, that's a glitch in its own right. (though, OK as a counter to delay jamming)

yeah, it's a glitch to counter it, but what's the problem? if you're glitching why can't i? i welcome the delay cause it's touchdown city. most people don't even know what's going on. then they see someone wide open 20 yards behind the closest defender.
i've had people delay me then i counter it like that and i get accused of cheating, so go figure

No,no.. it's cool against that BS.
If you wouldn't mind telling me how to do it, PM me.
(I'm not one to abuse that stuff, just when people are delay jamming and won't stop)

Why do you guys think that delayed bump and run is a glitch? That doesn't make sense to me.

Have you ever seen it work that way in "real" football?
It ain't even close....

Hey guys I am new to the boards. I just ordered my 2006 Tips and Strategy EBook and look forward to the information.
Concerning the post "Why do you guys think that delayed bump and run is a glitch? That doesn't make sense to me."
Well there is typically a 5 yard allowed bump zone that if you run regular man press coverage you are allowed ANY contact with the receiver. When people us this WR jam tactic, the corners are lined up 4-6 yards off of the receivers and impede the natural route the receiver is running beyond the bump zone thus literally commiting MASS pass interference which in 05 was never called. So IMO I considered it cheese since it was an illegal football move and the game did not recognize it as such.
Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong in this interpretation. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I find people doing this in league games. I rarely play any lobby games because of all of the cheesing out there.
I dont understand why most leagues allow this type of set as a standard defense. What is the best way to beat this other than using the Rb's out of the backfield and hitting TE's on crossing routes and drags?

qb scramble drop the passing icons as soon as you hike the ball. qb sprint from sg trips works well too. pump fakes, just sit in the pocket and wait. most guys don't blitz with it, but if they do look to run with the qb or hr the backs to do ins.

WR delayed jam on madden, the cb lines up about 2-3 yards away, but on ncaa he lines up 4-6?

yup, which is why we're complaining about it. the bump actually takes place 5-10 yards downfield and it's more like a mug (think carolina vs philly 2 years ago in the nfc championship game)

That sucks, but to do it you press triangle down then triangle up? So that's why the cb's are playing back? In madden it was triangle down then audible L2, so they played at regular depth. What happens if you do that in ncaa?

Triangle down then audible just returns you to your audible ;)
it dont matter anymore though.... 2006 is here!!!!!!
