Want to pull your hair out? Rebuild and put your stamp on the team ... take the Cards ... Emmitt hangs it up after one year ... you need a QB, RB and just about everyone on defense you can think of .... I hired a defensive coach and got to work!

Do you guys actually play the games? Or do you just simulate them and make all the personnel decisions?

I play! I am in my first season as the Cowboys. I just beat Seattle 21-11 in the NFC Championship game. I am going to play New England in the SuperBowl today!!I signed alot of free agents and made alot of trades prior to the season. I finshed the season with a 10-6 record and got a wild card. I got lucky, against the Eagles on the second play McNab broke a fibula. That enabled me to advance!

Franchise mode is ridiculously easy. I rebuilt the Texans in less then a year to an undefeated record with a one two three punch of Vick Moss and Faulk. Doesn't it seem too easy to get big name players with draft picks?

Its only easy if you do the Fantasy Draft. Try going without the Fantasy Draft.

i agree fantasty is easy, but when you trade for vick, moss, and faulk, that is not really rebuilding, thats more like cheating, you got three best players, of course it is going to be easy. I dont think its realistic to make an *** load of trades, but one here in there, that actually might happen is ok. I was thinking about the cards, but i just hate them so much! i guess im going to have to try it hehe

^FYI ive always played all madden except online. It is not cheating. It is not my responsibility to have a "realistic" team. It is my responsibilty to field the best team possible. Which I have done. I dont agree with anything in response to my post. In a nutshell , my franchise team would beat your franchise team in a simulated game.
PS. I garauntee you never win a spelling bee.

Why dont you do fantasy draft and pick the worst players available at each position. I wouldnt do it but that would be challenging.

I dont agree wit wat people are sayin that its cheapt o make alot of trades. While I make tons of them i would never want to trade for 3 stars that are already proven
wat i like to do is to trade my older players for young rookies. For example i traded for magehee, carson palmer, andre johnson, charles rogers, dewayne robertson, terrel suggs, etc.... i do this because i like to develop my rookies and it makes the games more interesting. I have played 4 season wit my team and all of those player have become above a 92. it is a much better way to make ure team have a lot of stars. Do u guys considere this to be cheating

Yes, to a certain degree. I can see you trading for 1 or 2 good rookies, but 4 & 5 are a bit much. I say this because it's almost certain those guys will turn out to be pretty good players in the future, Try developing rookies such as Dan Klecko, Larry Johnson, Rex Grossman, & Kelley Washington. But....who am I to tell you how to run your franchise.

I started a franchise with San Diego to practice using different playbooks when I'm not playing online. I won the first two games, even though the 2nd game was a horrible comeback code nightmare. Clinton Portis broke 2 70 plus yard runs, Al Wilson scored on a 94 yard interception return where he broke three tackles when my guys chased him down, and Cole ran back two kickoffs, 35 points and the shortest scoring play for the cpu was over 70 yards? Give me a break. I got smoked 30-8 in the third game against the Ravens, I guess for not letting the cpu win the previous game. I traded some players/picks and picked up Suggs, Carlos Hall and Jamal Fletcher to try to add to my defense, but Wright looked like Marino and Jamal Lewis looked like Tony Dorsett in the last game against me.
I think SD or ARI is probably the hardest franchise, with ARI having 2 games against the Rams, Seahawks and 49ers, and SD having the two games against KC and Den.
