I have a problem with the new NCAA wasting the right analog when the QB isn't scrambling. Would have liked to have seen duck, dodge, and rolling spin type moves similar to what 2K5 has for QBs. I find myself using the stick, and nothing happens. It is a complete waste of the stick. I suppose I could press X then juke or spin out of the way of an on coming guy, but those aren't really pocket type moves.
I also really wish there was some type of pass control as in leading a WR, or throwing a bit short. Thats what QB's do to place the ball, get it in the game!

There is! It's called directional passing and it's been in the game since at least 05 (don't remember if it was in 04). For some reason they don't even mention it in the instruction book or the in-game tutorials this year. Press up on your left analog stick while passing to lead your WR downfield, left or right to lead him left or right on slants, ins, outs, and posts, or pull down to underthrow him a bit. Try it out in practice mode. It works.

Underthrowing doesnt work so well with me... I always end up throwing off my back foot. Any tips?

I can directional pass in all other directions, but underthrowing is something i can't do.

Don't I feel stupid. I tried it this weekend. Just a little more subtile than 2k5. That explains a lot of my 2005 passing problems too, guess I better check this site more often.

I am not a directional passing wizard myself, but I think it still works if you press and hold the button to pass and immediately pull down before you release the pass button. This wouldn't work if you're throwing a lob, but why would you want to underthow a lob in the first place? Press pass button, pull down, then release pass button. Let me know if it works better.
