View Full Version : Which Team To Use Online?

Here's what I like to see in a team based on my style and what I'm good at doing already:
1) Speed RB
2) Receivers with good hands (don't care about speed)
3) Accurate QB (Don't care about arm strength)
4) Great secondary
Then my secondary wish list of 5 and 6 would be good hands FB and good front 4 on D.
So the ? is, what team might fit my mold the best? I always used to use St. Louis and Oakland. St. Louis doesn't have good receivers outside of the two and their secondary is piss poor. Oakland doesn't have a speed back.
Someone suggested Pitt but I haven't played with Zeroue yet. Comments?
I'm playing an offline game with Minn right now and like it so far but it just started,
Any other ideas?

New York Giants,Miami Dolphins,Buffalo Bills,Baltimore Ravens,Green Bay Packers. These squads sound pretty good for the style your looking for.All these squads have at least three good secondary men.I take it your looking for Corners and Safeties. Also i wasn't sure if you were looking for a running back with receiveing skills, but all these teams have a fast running back.

Green bay is a great team, also the colts are pretty tuff.

Titans are the best team if you know how to use them
Sub Hall in for carter at end and then sub carter in for smith at DT. THis will give u the best front 4 of any team in the game, I think. Kearse and hall have great speed on the outside. The secondary is awesome. Rolle has a 93 and dyson 95 Spd. The recievers are good at catching, especially Mason and Bennett. Calico can be ur deep threat out of the slot. Eddie is a horse and can pound the defense. He is not speedy but can break alot of tackles and will usually get u 100 yards. Mcnair has a great arm and can scramble to find more time and open players down the field.
Sub in Holcombe as your FB, he has good speed and good hands.

Probably a team you'd go for is the Bucs. Fast FS and CB's, hard hitting SS, fast LBs and DL. Keyshawn and Jurevicius are big targets and will catch the ball. Brad Johnson is renown for his accuracy but dont even think about throwing the deep ball, lol. I believe that Pittman is a very underrated back for his overall, he breaks alot of tackles.

why hasn't anybody mentioned the Eagles. 4 very fast and good corners, one of the best safeties in dawkins and lewis is not a push-over, three very talented rb(sub westbrook for richie at fb and then switch to richie when u want a short yardage pass to the fb). 3 very good DT and a couple of ok DE's. the only short coming is a lack of a good IlB, but emmons and wayne will pick up the slack. Don't forget they have a good offensive line so u have time to sit in the pocket and wait for the routes to develop, but if u must run Mcnabb is the man, and he hadly fumbles.......

I'm gonna try out Pitt, Ten, Minn, and GB and see what happens.
I can't play for at least a week though--I'm getting treated for tendonitis in my left wrist and hand. No, not from too much Madden or Google Kournikova searches, but from playing piano. . . my real gig.

pitts good....their backs are small and weak but they get pickoffs a lot if the ball is thrown bad.......but with pitt a lot of time u have to click on cuz the computer runs slow on D. but yea amos breaks tons of tackles for me and the bus i put him at FB.
but yea i hope u run with pitt cuz no one really runs with them online.. and burress and ward are both a deep threat
