I know this is gay, but I'm sure everyone here can relate.

I LOVE playing with my Junior (RS) QB, Mathias Parker. I recruited him when Drew Tate was starting his Senior Year and when Tate left he took over as a redshirt freshman. He's a Junior now and has 99 arm strength and 9o accuracy with 80 speed. He's 6'5" and 243 lbs. Duante Culpepper clone.

He won the Rose Bowl as a Freshman and we won the NCAA title as a sophomore.

I'm hoping to go back-to-back before I lose him to the draft (had to convince him to stay for his junior year, sure he'll leave after).

He's so much fun to play with. I also have a WR name Brian Robinson (99 speed, 85 cth) that is a bad-***.

I think the funnest part of this game is taking recruits and developing them and then drafting them into Madden to continue the glory.

Who's your favorite recruited player?

I've had the same feeling towards recruits in 2005. So far however, I haven't found a particular recruit which I have fell in love with per say, yet.

yah in 2005 i got some QB in USC with like 86 speed and amazing arm, so he ended up leading in rushing and since i had good receivers, he was up there in yardage too

My favorite recruit... I was playing with Maryland. It was week 2 in the 2nd season and my starting QB got injuried. Luckly I drafted a quick QB with 86 speed.

Although he was fast... he was a 78 QB. I decided to just use his speed and change to the option. I ended up getting him too the Top of the Heisman rankings, but I ended up 3rd.

By his Sr year, he decided to go into the draft... I didnt let him. So It was midway through the season and BOOM. Injuired for the year... Im not sure if hes going to be in the draft but I will pick him to replace McNair in Madden if he is.

My favorite recruit is still in his freshman year. When I recruited him he was an athlete, he was 6'3 2 something. When i made him a LE he was 88 overall 5 games into the season he is leading the NCAA with 9 sacks, and is 90 overall. I have to finish his collegiate carrer to see how he ends up.

His speed is 96, strength is 70 and is 68 awareness.

My favorite is from '05 right now -- a QB named Elliott Gibson. I played with a user-created school and after three seasons I had mastered the passing game. After my second season I recruited Gibson (78 OVR, 84 SPD) and redshirted him -- I had a senior QB. I win a Bowl my third year and a number of players graduate including my Heisman-winning WR, who leaves early (and isn't even in the Madden draft class -- he was only an 84 OVR in NCAA). All season I can't wait to use Gibson. He finally takes the reins next year and wins the Heisman, Maxwell, QB, and is the National Championship Game MVP. My team was a powerhouse from then on, so it followed that common narrative of a "on the cusp" team getting that one recruit that pushees them over the edge into elite status (Cf. Virginia Tech).

Then, of course, one week before NCAA 2006 comes out, I get the draft class I'd always wanted. An 82 OVR QB with 87 SPD and two WRs with 99 SPD.

Um... I make a concerted effort to recruit Canadian players.... even if the are only 2 stars. These players usually wind up my favorite for some reason.

Yeah, in 05 I had alot of guys from Canada that wanted to come to BC. And they often progressed better than expected.
