In franchise mode can you be the head coach like in versions prior to 05 or can you only be the owner.

Ie; can you turn off owner mode and still play franchise?

lots of looks but know help, i dont think i am going to buy Madden this year if you cant simply coach without being the owner...well i may buy it down the raod because i have an ncaa draft class that i must see how this kid projects into the pros...but anyhelp onthis matter i thank in advance!

WHy wouldn't you buy Madden? Just cause you can't change franchise to no owner. Well right now I don't know about franchise cause I haven't tried.

Based on what I saw when I was checking the game out yesterday, Owner's mode is still mandatory in a franchise. You MUST deal with salary cap issues, stadium issues, and the money aspects of the game.

I want a football simulator myself. Not "Sim Business."

Salary cap issues are not a problem, but it's the stadium and ticket pricing, that i have gotten tired of. I just wnat to run a team without having to "lose" the franchise because of low ticket sales or whatever...even if that were true, Bill Bidwell, would not still own the crdinals, let me just "coach" the franchise, thats all I want

The ticket/parking/food/merchanside pricing sucks, having to adjust those things is a waste of programming.

I dont mind hiring trainers, coaches, etc...but leave the hot dog prices alone.

I believe that you can do coach mode, not that i do coach mode, and that you can do some type of sim that can put you as the coach that chooses all of the plays. I just came across this today as I was playing my franchise.
