How quickly after the release do the on-line rosters get updated usually?

They have been updated today. R. Williams is on the Phins, T. Law is on the Jets, and F. Mitchell is on the Chiefs.

Well that's wonderful! :) TY LAW is on the Jets! I have a shut down corner... I've never had that before. Wow. This is gonna be fun!

Woot woot! I played close to 300 games online this year... and I probably played with the Jets for about 50 of those games but just had too much trouble against teams that threw the deep pass... so Ty will help out tremendously. Ooohh... that D line... Vilma... Law... and then that offense with a good receiving TE in Jolley... Pennington's cone... Martin's overall good looks. This could be a good year for Jets fans.

LOL... why couldn't Green Bay sign Ty Law??? LOL... [...weeping in sadness...]

If you gave up the deep pass, you needed to scheme a bit better. I used the Jets last year for about 400 games...out of like... 410 or something? :) I didn't NEED the shut down corner, just had to protect against the big guns.

But having the shut down corner will free up a defender for some other stuff. Should be interesting.

I really never had a problem w/ Chad's arm strength. I got so used to it, that it was just a timing thing. I did play with the packers a little bit as well, and I'm not gonna lie to you, Favre's THP was definetly nice to have, but I can work with Chad just fine. I don't think it's as much of a hinderance as some people made it out to be. The accuracy was very important, and I think it's going to be much more important this year over THP because you can lead the lobs anymore.

Naturaly I have not played a down in '06 yet, so this is all just speculation :)

Capn... LOL... Im not saying I didn't win with the Jets... I had a lot of success with them... but I just prefer to have a little more speed at DB. Most of my success came from zone blitzes that gave me sacks or forced interceptions. As you know they are a cover 2 Defensive team... so it isn't all speed so much as they are physical with their corners... but that can be exploited and having to control the Deep safety often opens up other parts of the field IMO if you are playing someone who has more than just the deep route.

I only use the safety, so maybe that's why I had a better time w/ the deep stuff.
