I picked up Peter Boulware in a Franchise I have with the Eagles and changed him to a DE. This makes him a 99 OVR. Stuff like this is well known, and is not the subject of my post.

I did a Fantasy Draft and picked up ROLBs Shawne Merriman and DeMarcus Ware, with the intent of changing Ware to a LOLB. I realize that I could probably have changed him to a phenomenal DE, but I didn't want to do it. Anyway, I can't change their positions at all. Is this a thing with all rookies? Is it tied to experience in the league?

I don't want to cheese with this one, I just want to switch the side of a rookie linebacker. Ware takes a 6-point OVR hit if I just play him on the left side, so I don't want to do that.

Does anyone know what's up?

Gary

Maybe you do not have enough players at the one position to change the player to another position

yea, it's just a weird balance, either u need to pick up another LB befor u can change one, or u need to release a DE to move someone where. IF u do both(free agent for players old position and be below league demands for his future position) u will definitly be able to change his position.

You need to have one more than the required amount (not 4 OLBs u need 2 LOLB and 2 ROLB). So that you can cange their positions. That was there last year too.

Thank you guys so much. I was re-ordering my Fantasy Draft strategy in the expectation of having to take a different LOLB.
