Updating rosters

Hi I like most everyone picked up madden 06 on tuesday when it came out. I am fairly new to the game i have only been playing for 4 years now. i was wondering if there was a way to update the rosters with out having to go into each team and physically update them?

Gotta use Xbox live or whatever PS2's system is called.

Go to Game Modes> Play Online> and then the newest rosters will download automatically> save

That's it.

i use PS2 and saved the updated roster online, but after i do this can i play with the updated rosters offline and in franchise mode?

my main goal is to get the high profiled FA like Law and Bruschi onto the correct teams and not make any controversy in my league as to who gets what FA.

Yes, once the roster is saved on your memory card, you can use it in your franchise.
