I sent TO to the Titans for a #1 and #4.
Also sent Simon to the Browns for Andre Davis and a 2nd rounder. I read in the Cleveland and NJ papers that Davis was a player the Browns were looking to ship out since Edwards signed. Is a possible Eagles pick up in real life.
I always have to make trades that are somewhat realistic or I look at my franchise as a farce.
Created Justin Jenkins (71 overall) and so now the Eagles start their Monday night game vs. Atlanta with this receiving corps:
WR1: Davis-83
WR2: Brown-78
Slot: Lewis-79
Jenkins-71
McMullen-65
Westbrook and Moats will be getting a lot of time on the line (just like in reality) and LJ Smith will drop out to the slot some as well.
Anyone else got some good trades?

Yeah, I traded Owens too. Got Porter and a #1 and #6 I think. Also traded Simon to the Texans for their rookie (I think) DT Johnson. Great minds think alike, my friend.

I was reading the nfl rumors on prosportsdaily.com, it's a collection of all the headlines of the papers in pro sports cities. Saw that the NJ paper and GB papers were saying that the Eagles have inquired about Robert Ferguson.
So I went back and restarted my 'chise and got Ferguson and a 3rd for Simon. Then sent TO to Tennessee for a 1 and 4. Gonna stick with this franchise. I am going to use that extra pick to get a OL to replace Thomas and the other on a WR likely....unless there's some good FA's.
Back to reality, seems Ferguson, Davis, Chalres Rogers, and Price (in that order)are the rumored WR's the Eagles are interested in.
Should be interesting.

I highly doubt we would give up Ferguson because we would take an immediate cap hit of around 1.5 Mil. We need the WRs we have, especially after the vikings playoff game last season and I know myself and quite a few other Packer fans would be less than thrilled to see him traded away.

Right now its said the Eagles and Packers have agreed on a base trade but are deciding on a few of the players. We only belive it is ferguson. Driver was also mentioned. Another name said that could be included in the deal is Davenport since the Packers wont sign him next year and have a few other backups they like. The Players from the eagles that they said are most likly are Hollis Thomas or Rayburn, Simoneau and possibly Wynn at CB.

This is exactly what I read too. That the Pack might be interested in getting rid of Driver because the cap hit is less and Davenport becasue they won't re-sign him in March anyway.

I don't see any trade happening here. Ted Thompson isn't one for bringing in veterans. I definitely don't see Davenport being traded away as theres a good chance that Green will be let go after this season when his contract runs up so Davenport is the future of our backfield. TT will not be bringing in any more vets to this team. He is cleaning house and cap room to rebuild his OWN team. As much as I'd love to see Trotter - he is too old and doesn't fit Bates scheme. Simon is too expensive and the available Eagle subs are not dramatically better than our subs. Bottom line - if we trade - it is for TT to accumulate draft picks for rebuilding.

Man u have ur facts all messed up. No way Eagles would give trotter for one. Its a DT(hollis or Rayburn) and Simoneau. And Greens contract is not up Davenports is at the end of the season. And if Ted is not one for bring in Vets why did he trade for Al Harris from philly a few years ago? Packers and Eagles do trades all the time. And no one mentioned Simon, we know Packers cant afford him. All the guys mentioned in the news and paper which i named above are cheap. Dont be surprised come next week if the deal is done. I think its all waiting on the TO situation and when he comes back and what Reid sees with Brown and Lewis in the preseason game.

You are wrong my friend about green's contract. He has one year left and I doubt that the Packers would trade Davenport with one year left on his contract as well. All of the Packers' TOP 3 RB's have on year contracts that will expire at the end of the season :
1. Ahman Green
2. Najeh Davenport
3. Tony Fischer

ill take ur word on that one since u guys are the packers fans. I was under the impression Green was a Restricted FA, but Davenport is a URFA. is that correct? casue i know Davenport was a RFA this year.

Restricted free agents have been in the league only three years, that is not the case with Green.

Coach Stag,
Did your team suffer serious moral problems. I never had morale problems last year, but after I traded T.O. (some grumbling) then Simon (serious grumbling) my team has basically quit on me. I started off 3-0 after trading T.O. in the preseason but I just lost my last two games. Does moral affect team play because it seems like my team is slow.
