How can a player under contract decide not to play and declare himself 'inactive'? Is this new in 06 or have i missed something in the past? What can you do when an icon becomes inactive? He won't play for you but you're still paying him. You can't trade or release him without losing a bundle in cap penalties.
In my case, i cheated. I 'operate' several teams and I released the player, had another of my teams sign him(with a big cap) and trade him back to me. At that point he's happy.
I don't know what I would do if I only had one team.
Last question: How do they get so unhappy that they refuse to play???
