Since I saw a few of these already it sparked my interest to start one as well :p I'm about midway through the season right now so I will post starting next season. I plan to do a major overhaul on this team as there are a whole lot of players that wont be under contract after this season is up

Evernight, we will both be posting Packer franchises I guess. It will be nice to compare them. Good luck with yours.

You as well, will be interesting to see what you do with your offseason moves compared to what I do and the real TT does :)

Just finished season one going 15-1-0. My one loss was to the Raves 9-20 in week 15. In post season matchups, I stomped the Panthers 37-6 in Divisional, and edged out the Rams 31-21 in Conference. The Super Bowl was probably the best one I've played thus far! It was against the 14-4 Patriots (who else......they got in it almost every year last year too  )

The game started with both defenses showing what they could do. On my first two posessions, I go 3 and out. The Pats go 3 and out on their first and come away with a 52 yard field goal on their second with 3:02 left in the first quarter. The second quarter is much the same, with the Pats scoring another field goal with 2:51 from 53 yards out to make it 6-0. Then on my next drive I fumble on the kickoff return and they return it for a TD 10-0 Pats. BUT WAIT! I challenge it. The game could very well ride on this challenge. I hold my breath as I wait for the verdict. OVERTURNED!!! I don't think I've ever been so happy to have a play overturned in my life! (the game for some reason marked it as a touchdown in the game recap, so NE won if you add up the points from their scores) I get the ball back and put together a small drive that gets me a 43 yard field goal with 1:15 left 6-3 Pats. NE gets the ball back and puts a 3 play drive together that nets them a 25 yard TD run 13-3 Pats.

In the third quarter, my luck stayed much the same until I was able to string together 3 plays that earned me a 60 yard TD run with 2:56 left. 13-10 Pats. I was somehow able to put a lid on their scoring drives the rest of the quarter, and they came up empty handed in the third quarter. In the fourth, the game was still very much up in the air. Both teams had to work very hard to get any points they could. NE finally put together an 8 play drive that gained them a FG from 41 yards out with 2:26 left (boy, I bet they're glad they don't have Nate Kaeding as their kicker LOL) 16-10 Pats.

I go 3 and out again on my next drive, forcing me to try to stop them from scoring yet again. Once NE got to about mid field, I knew I needed to put the clamp on them, and fast. KGB broke free of a blocker and rushed Brady, hitting him as he threw. The throw was a high lob that ended up in the hands of Nick Barnett! I now knew that I needed to be very careful, as I had already thrown 3 picks against NE's very good defense. I had 2 minutes to stick it in the endzone. I hit Bubba Franks twice in a row, who was wide open both times. A pass to Walker, Driver, and Fergy later and I was within scoring distance. 16 yards out from the endzone never felt so far away. I attempted 2 runs with Green, both of which were stopped for no gain. 3rd and 16 yards to the endzone. This was it. I knew I couldn't settle for a field goal. On the next play, I noticed a man playing man coverage and changed up Chatman hoping he would be free in the endzone. I drop back to pass, throw a zinger into the endzone, and it lands perfectly in Chatmans waiting arms. TOUCHDOWN!!!! 16-17 PACK!

There was still 52 seconds left in the quarter, and a lot could still happen. A pass interference call on none other than Ahmad Carroll (would you really expect anything less?) really put my one point lead in jeapordy when it gave NE a good shot at getting a field goal to win the game with only 10 yards more. On the next play, Brady was sacked and fumbled the ball which I recovered. I ran on the next 3 plays for almost no yards, and NE used all three of their final timeouts. I punted the ball away and got it downed on their 10 yard line. Two hail maries knocked down later and I was able to hold up my first trophy of the year  Nick Barnett was the player of the game.

It was a cool game. Caroll do get a lot of those call in the real NFL so I was laughing when I saw that.

First, I had absolutely NO (ZERO, NONE, NOTTA, ZIP!) defensive regression, something that I've NEVER had happen before. Secondly I had two of my starting WRs and some linemen actually drop points, which also has NEVER happened before. My WRs never gained a single point all season and neither did my QB. If anyone wants me to I can post my roster and how much each player went up as I have it all recorded in Access.

Year 2 Regular Season

Week 1 VS Dolphins W 34-7
Favre 14-27 182 yds 3 TD 2 INT
Nick Barnett 6 TAK 3 SCK 1 INT
Aaron Kampman 4 TAK 3 SCK

Dolphins only TD came on an INT returned for a TD by Jason Wynn, a CB I was going to take in the draft in the 2nd round

Other news around the league:
Peyton Manning out for 11 weeks w/ broken ribs
10 players out for season in the NFL

Week 2 vs Bills (1-0) W 28-15
Favre 12-26 184 yds 1 INT
Bubba Franks 6 REC 120 yds
Nick Barnett 7 TCK 1 SCK 1 FF 2 INT

Week 3 BYE

Week 4 vS Lions (3-0) W 59-0
Favre 15-23 179 yds 1 TD 1 INT
Rodgers 3-10 53 yds
Green 21 ATT 187 yds 6 TD
Franks 6 REC 108 yds

First game I've felt like I had complete control over the other team. I had a great passing game and running game. It helped, though, that their qb was a rookie who was held 9-34 96 yds and 6 INT as well has having 3 players out with injuries.

18 players out for season.

Noticed Davenport got picked up by the Jaguars and hes in low yellow morale. Barry seems to like his new home.

Week 5 @ Jets (0-4) W 27-0
Favre 12-22 141 yds 2 TD 1 INT
Green 21 ATT 103 YDS
Kampman 5 TAK 3 SCK
